Update history Windows 10 Updates

Microsoft has been quite strange as a software company to date.
Since Windows 10 came out, there have been many updates, certainly always appreciable, but never properly documented.
Operating system updates are always appreciated, but it would be nice to also know what is changing, seen and above all because Windows 10 was designed to evolve and not only to receive security patches as it was for previous versions.
Every week the PC is updated with new patches and security updates, but for most people these are taken for granted, since Windows says nothing about the improvements and the problems solved.
Finally, in conjunction with Tuesday's usual Patch (the day Microsoft releases security updates every month), Microsoft has opened the web page with the Windows 10 update history, where it is explained which problems have been corrected, which bugs are been patched and also what improvements or changes were applied in the update .
The site is a list of release notes, not extremely detailed, but excellent for those who want to know what they are installing when they receive updates from Windows Update .
The Windows 10 update history page is, for now, only in English and does not have a chronological order. It is just a list of changes, related only to the latest update released. The site will then be updated regularly each time other Updates are released.

History of updates installed by Windows Update

With the occasion of this article it is also worth remembering how to see the history of updates installed in Windows .
The list is found from the Control Panel> Programs and Features, then clicking on the link on the left " View installed updates ". In this case the list is chronological, but not very indicative of what happens.
This window is only useful when you need to uninstall a Windows update if it has given you problems.
If you want to have a real list of all the patches and updates installed on the Windows 10 system, you can download and run (without installation) the Nirsoft Windows Updates History Viewer tool. This program allows you to see all the updates installed correctly on the system, the updates not installed correctly and the uninstallations. The list also shows the type of update, the date, clickable support links, descriptions, uninstallation notes and additional information. The default sorting is based on the title, but just a click on the title of a column, for example the date of installation, sorts the list in a history. updates are green if they have been installed correctly, yellow or red if there have been problems.
