Programs like web applications for each computer

Even Microsoft, as seen, has launched an app-based Windows 10 S operating system, which becomes bomb-proof and safe, but also very limited by the fact that traditional desktop programs cannot be installed.
This limitation is practically the same as on Chromebooks, where you can install Chrome apps and also Android apps, but not the traditional PC programs.
In addition to these special types of PCs, hybrid tablets are also widespread, which in many cases have relatively little space on the internal disk to install programs.
In all these cases , web applications, browser-based ones, that work like normal programs, without downloading anything and without installation, become useful.
Some sites provide the most popular traditional programs, such as Libreoffice, GIMP, Notepad ++ etc, in a cloud environment and allow you to use these software on different platforms using a simple browser.
1) rollApp is a perfect site to use normal programs as web applications, by registering an account for free.
This platform allows you to open more than 200 different types of software: word processors, graphics programs, system utilities, games and many others.
You can therefore work on these programs as if they were installed on a PC, via a browser, using your own files (which can be opened from the Rollmyfile website).
Popular cloud storage like Google Drive, Microsoft Onedrive and Dropbox are also supported.
Obviously internet connection is always required to work on these web applications, but work is not lost in case of disconnection and can be resumed whenever you want.
The free subscription allows you to use a maximum of 3 applications simultaneously, to be chosen among those available, except for some that are only premium.
The free subscription does not allow saving the modified files in cloud storage but only on the PC, does not support copying and pasting from PC programs, does not automatically save data and is, in fact, good only for testing or for emergencies.
2) Cameyo is a similar, more generous service than rollApp in its free account.
It is a cloud virtualization platform of Windows programs that allows you to use them as web applications on the browser of a PC, Mac, Chromebook, Linux computer or Android device, online or offline.
It connects and syncs with your Dropbox or Google Drive account and supports opening and saving files from these cloud storage.
The main limitation of the free Cameyo account is that you can use any program for 15 minutes maximum, then you have to renew the session.
Cameyo also offers a program to create portable programs than those installed on the PC with software virtualization.
3) Turbo is a powerful service that I have already written in the past about how to run programs without installing them to use them on PC.
Web applications are run through a browser extension that works without administrator privileges, thus eliminating any problem of permissions.
The applications are able to automatically save the jobs and data of the programs used, so as not to lose any files.
Turbo offers more than a thousand web applications and works in a truly powerful and perfect way to have every desktop program available on every PC.
The only flaw is that the free account allows you to use Turbo only on Windows PC.
With these virtualization technologies of cloud programs it is therefore possible to use your favorite web applications on any PC without installation, leaving those who manage the servers of these sites the burden of data processing, keeping the PC fast and free.
Just a shame that the free accounts of these sites have many limitations, but I believe that those who really need could also find a subscription convenient.
