How Internet Explorer 11 improves in Windows 8

Although it is now less and less used, Internet Explorer remains at least the third most used browser in the world after Chrome and Firefox, therefore Microsoft, with Windows 8.1 has also presented Internet Explorer 11, the new version of the historic Windows browser.
By its nature, IE11 was a big change at least in its version of Windows 8 apps (because the desktop version didn't have much news compared to IE9), but it also had some strange limitations.
Internet Explorer 11 is in fact too oriented towards tablets and touch screens with full-screen web pages and the address bar that appears only by pressing the right mouse button.
In addition, you cannot manage your favorites and you can only open a maximum of 11 tabs at one time.
To make Internet Explorer 11 more usable from the PC, the app version in Windows 8.1 is updated to IE11 which has some new features worth talking about.

1) Live tiles on the Start screen for sites
IE11 allows you to save your favorite sites on the Start screen.
In Internet Explorer 11 the tiles of the sites fixed on the Start screen can also update themselves and maybe show the latest published news or the latest update.
2) Permanent view of the tabs and the address bar
One of the most problematic things about IE11 in Windows 8 is that the cards are not actually true cards and cannot be selected quickly but you must first press the right mouse button and then choose the one to be displayed.
IE11 solves the problem and allows you to view which tabs are open on the address bar so you can quickly select them and always have the titles of open sites in front of you.
This function is activated in the settings of Internet Explorer 11 accessible from the button bar that appears on the right by moving the cursor to the top right corner.
3) WebGL support
IE11, finally, bring supports WebGL and opens web applications with 3D graphics.
4) IE11 supports HTML5 streaming videos without external plugins and the transmission quality adapts to the bandwidth speed so as to keep the reproduction fluid.
5) Integration with other Windows 8 applications
If you click a link from the Mail application in Windows 8 from IE11, you can go back to the Mail app manually.
With IE11, on the other hand, when you click on a link from another app, the browser opens from the side, next to the app you are using.
6) Infinite cards
IE11 allows users to open just 10 tabs at a time.
In Internet Explorer 11 an unlimited number of tabs can be opened simultaneously.
This is perhaps the best feature of IE11 because according to Microsoft, even 100 websites can be opened at one time without slowing down the computer since the tabs not displayed are put in "Pause" and downloaded from memory.
A similar memory optimization system can also be obtained on Firefox and Chrome through some extensions:
- 7 Firefox extensions to decrease RAM memory consumption
- Suspend idle Chrome tabs to save memory
7) Browsing two sites together on the screen next to each other .
With Internet Explorer 11 you can open a website from one side of the screen and another side by side.
8) Favorites Center
In Internet Explorer 11 of Windows 8.1 you can manage your browser favorites without having to open the desktop version of Internet Explorer.
IE11, in the App version, therefore becomes a real browser now and considering that it is a very fast application completely integrated in Windows 8 it can certainly become an option to consider to replace Firefox, Chrome or other traditional browsers for the desktop.
To use Internet Explorer 11 you need to download and install WIndows 8.1 .
