Optimize Gmail to better manage emails with applications and extensions

You can optimize Gmail by adding new features to your Google mailbox in many ways and we will see at least 4 of them, focusing on the various web applications that make the management of Gmail mail more productive. Gmail.com is the Google email box and is, in competition with Hotmail and Yahoo Mail, the best email box available, with almost unlimited space to store attachments and many free functions that make Email management professional and modern.
Gmail is a very large web application and, looking at the settings menu, it allows you to do almost anything with the e-mail sent and received.
If this is not enough, you can optimize Gmail to add new special functions, the best of which can therefore be included in 4 large categories.
1) You can take advantage of the numerous experimental features of Gmail Labs by clicking on the green test tube at the top right, including, for example, instant translation of emails into other languages, cancellation of sending, emoticons and so on.
2) You can use a large number of Firefox addons or Google Chrome extensions for Gmail to optimize and customize the behavior of Gmail.
3) Finally, there are numerous web applications for Gmail which, like extensions, are created by third parties (not by Google).
The big difference is that the applications interact with the mailbox through the Gmail API and are much more powerful .
The best web applications, the most useful that contribute to improve Gmail and that I recommend trying, are 7.
4) Sortd is perhaps the easiest way to sort and organize your Gmail inbox on Chrome.
The extension works by modifying the Gmail interface to keep an eye on the most important messages and save time in browsing them.
For example, it will be possible to group all the articles of navigaweb.net (if you have activated the reception of the articles via Email from the box at the top right of this blog), the News of other websites, the automatic work messages, purchase receipts in iTunes and so on.
It is an application that works like the Gmail priority mail function, even with past and archived messages.
5) FindBigmail.com is an application that allows you to search for larger attachments that have been received in Gmail. There will never be space problems in Gmail but you may be interested in finding the received attachments and downloading them to the coomputer.
6) Discoverly allows you to know more details about the sender of an e-mail message received.
Rapportive finds the Facebook or Linkedin profile associated with an e-mail address.
4) AwayFind.com It is used to manage the messages that arrive in Gmail during a holiday period . With AwayFind, you can easily create important email alerts and receive a notification via SMS regarding their arrival, without having to constantly check your email.
7) Streak and other similar web applications, as already seen, allow to know if a sent Email is read (Gmail)
8) Boomerang is the newest and most popular web application for Gmail.
With Boomerang for Gmail, you can write an email now and schedule it to be sent in the future .
So you can easily program a note to remember someone's birthday or not to forget to send a message on a certain date.
Boomerang is one of the online services for sending outdated Email posts and messages in the future.
9) Outlook.com, Microsoft's e-mail inbox, becomes perfect for backing up all the emails received in Gmail so as to have a double copy in case of problems.
For help, refer to this article on how to import an email account to Outlook.com.
About how to backup Gmail I spoke in another article.
10) TripIt is a mailbox scanning service several times a day looking for the messages of travel reservations and imports them into the application to create travel itineraries.
Finally, I remember from other articles, how to manage personal expenses using Gmail and Google Docs.
