How to create groups of contacts in Gmail to send the same emails to

Groups, useful for communicating with several people together, are a basic feature of messaging applications such as Whatsapp and Facebook Messenger, but they can also be used with Email.
A group email saves the effort of inserting addresses in messages one by one each time, sharing the same message with several people following the various interventions.
The group's emails are not only useful to the work teams, but can be used for various purposes: organizing a party, a soccer match, a study group or even to send a personalized newsletter.
Email groups as distribution lists are an important feature of Microsoft Outlook, which can also be used efficiently in Gmail, as we see in this guide on how to create groups in Gmail .

To prepare a list of contacts to use for group email, first of all access the Google address book with your Gmail account.
Select the contacts to be grouped with a check mark on the image next to names and e-mail addresses in the list and then press on the label icon at the top (the icon with five corners) to display a drop-down menu.
In this drop-down menu, select an existing group or press to create it new, where to insert these contacts.
The new group can be given a personalized and unique name.
Press Apply to save the email group.
The group name will now appear on the left side of the screen in Gmail, under " Labels ".
The group name also appears in the rightmost column of the contact list.
Obviously you can add contacts to existing lists.
To delete a contact label, you can click on Labels on the left side, select the one to be deleted and then delete it with the trash can button.
You can group people in Gmail, always in the Google Contacts section, also using the search field at the top.
For example, searching "work in IT" will find all the contacts who have specified in their Google profile the field of work in the field of technology and information technology.
With this trick it is possible to organize groups based on any search criteria, such as that of people who live in Italy or with the same surname.
Create a distribution list in Gmail
Once a group is created (i.e. after labeling contacts), it can be used as a distribution list for any email.
This can be done from the Google Contacts page or from the Gmail site which is preferable.
In Gmail, write a new message and in the To: text box and start typing the name of the label group.
Gmail automatically suggests the name of the group to which you want to send the message and by selecting it, all email addresses with that label will be recipients of the message .
If you want to hide the name of the various recipients in the email, you can send the email by writing the group name by pressing on Bcc, preferable if you want to send the message to a group of people who do not know each other and are not connected to each other with the other one.
The only address they will see is theirs.
Recipients will be able to reply to the Email and, if the Bcc option has not been used, the replies will be visible to all recipients, such as a Whatsapp or Facebook conversation.
