What NOT to buy on Black Friday or with discounts and offers from flyers

Black Friday is certainly a good opportunity to buy some new technological objects, but exposes consumers to the high risk of wasting money on useless or poor quality stuff.
Everyone's mind falters when he sees incredible savings and it is absolutely normal to release the brakes of rationality and let go with purchases of things that otherwise, without offers and without discounts, they would never buy.
While in all blogs and websites the various discounted products to buy are recommended, for this Black Friday and to do a different thing, we see here, however, what is absolutely not worth buying under offer .
There are at least a dozen categories of technology and electronics products from which it is best to stay away even under the sales period, even during Black Friday or any sales period.
These are those offered by the flyer that may seem like big discounts and savings, but instead, they are often ways of producers and distributors to get rid of stuff that would otherwise remain unsold.

1) Cheap televisions
Since the new TV is something that should last for years, it is not worth taking it on offer if the price is so low compared to the type of TV.
In theory there would be no technical contraindications on cheap televisions which, surely, will be Smart TVs and will have integrated Wifi and HDMI, but they may be limited in image quality, in the pixel refresh rate blocked at 60 Hz or they are much thicker and heavy or have a "smart" operating system that has many limitations in the type of usable applications.
Keep in mind, that any TV can become Smart TV by buying a 50 Euro Amazon Fire Stick.
In another article, however, I had reported the best low-cost Smart TVs.
2) Hoverboard
The hoverboards had a moderate success last year, but it can't really be said that they broke through.
Beyond the actual usefulness of a Hoverboard, one must be careful not to buy those of unknown brands that cost too little, which could break easily and quickly.
In addition, the hoverboard, in addition to being forbidden to be used on the street, is also quite dangerous especially for children (never forget the helmet and protections for elbows and knees).
Instead of the hoverboard, it is certainly better to buy an electric skateboard, much more fun to use.
3) Video cameras
It really doesn't make sense to buy a video camera, not even Black Friday, unless we are professional video makers.
Today you can make excellent quality videos directly using your smartphone and it only becomes a hindrance to bring an extra video camera with you.
4) Cheap drones
Drones are flying robots that are fun to drive and that can take pictures from above.
Drones are beautiful, but they are very delicate objects.
The cheap ones that are found in the supermarket or on offer at 50 or 100 Eur are better left alone because they break immediately, are not stable and are difficult to control.
A drone that works well cannot cost less than 500 Euros.
5) cheap PCs
A year ago I fell for it too, I bought a Windows 10 tablet laptop for 200 Euros on offer (I don't say which out of respect to the manufacturer), I used it a few times and put it in a closet.
I thought I had made a deal, instead that PC convertible to tablet is really poor, very slow and uncomfortable to use both as a laptop and as a tablet.
PCs that cost less than 300 Euros, unfortunately, almost always have limits of RAM memory, processor and disk.
RAM should never be less than 4 GB; the processor must always be 64 bit and preferably it should not be a Celeron, a Core i3 or an Intel Atom.
The disk must not be a traditional hard disk, but must be an SSD.
The latter requirement is the most difficult to find, but also the most important (better a PC with a Celeron processor 4 GB of RAM and SSD than a PC with a powerful processor, 8 GB RAM and a normal hard disk).

6) Blu-ray player
Unless you have a large library of Blu-ray movies, I see few reasons to buy a Blu-ray player, especially when movies are now streamed via the internet with Sky or Netflix and no longer using plastic discs, to be considered obsolete.
7) Wi-Fi amplifiers
The wifi amplifiers to enhance the reception of the home network are useful and are recommended purchases.
What is not convenient is to buy an expensive Wifi amplifier, because for the vast majority of cases a 10 or 20 Euro one is enough.
8) Autonomous GPS navigator
I am always amazed when I see GPS navigators for sale in electronics stores, which for me are part of a bygone era.
The best satellite navigators in the world today are undoubtedly the apps such as Google Maps and Waze, which can be installed on any Android smartphone or iPhone and always show updated maps with many functions to find the least busy road at all times.
A wiser purchase is to buy the support to keep the smartphone in the car, for which a 7 Euro magnet is enough.
9) Cheap tablets
Tablets, if they are not branded, now all cost little.
In fact, the tablets have lost much of the charm and the market of a few years ago, especially because modern smartphones have reached a screen size that makes them no longer necessary.
If you are looking for a cheap tablet, the only one that can be recommended to appear is the Amazon Fire 8, which costs less than 100 Euros and has everything you need.
