For years Facebook users have been asking for a "dislike" button option that would allow them to thumbs down unwelcome posts or messages. Facebook, in its public interface, still does not yet have a "Dislike" button and, probably, it will never have it because it would certainly become a double-edged sword, also creating additional social problems in addition to what Facebook already causes.
Even if you can't do " I don't like " for everything published on Facebook, thanks to a new emoticon you can express your dissent about something in the Facebook chat, where "I don't like" appears for the first time .
The "dislike" is one of the stickers of the chat and Facebook messenger app that can be sent both from the normal website and from the Facebook Messenger application on Android and iPhone mobiles.
By clicking or touching the smiley face icon, go to the store by tapping or clicking the shopping cart button to install, obviously for free, the "Like" stickers set in your chat.
This is nothing more than a collection of new stickers that can be added on the chat.
In this collection, selectable in every chat window or conversation in Messenger, there is the sticker with the usual drawing with the thumb upwards and also, for the first time, the drawing with the thumb downwards which means, in fact, "I don't like it" .
The sticker package can be installed both from the web chat and from the Facebook Messenger application and can also be used for private messages.
Since 2014 it is possible to use the stickers also in Facebook comments and, therefore, to make the "dislike" thumb appear for each post published.
If you want a real "I don't like" button on Facebook you can instead install the FB Dislike extension (it no longer exists) and you can express the non-appreciation of news and stayi.
The problem is that this non-appreciation is then seen only by those who use the extension, remaining hidden from everyone else.
