Safer Whatsapp account by activating 2-step verification

From today in WhatsApp you can use a new option that improves the security of the application and makes a big contribution to preventing any theft of accounts or unauthorized access.
Whatsapp, in fact, does not have a password access to its application, therefore accessing with another's account is not at all something so impossible for those who intend to hack and tamper.
After the end-to-end encryption of Whatsapp, for better protection, the two-step verification has now been introduced, i.e. the ability to protect the account with an additional code that is requested every time you log in to Whatsapp from a new device.
Two-step verification is already an option that everyone must now activate on Whatsapp for iPhone, Android and Windows .
The new security protection will ensure that no one can then access a WhatsApp account using only the mobile number and the personalized identification code will then be requested as a password.

To activate the two-step verification in WhatsApp, you must therefore open the application, both on iPhone and on Samsung, Huawei and Android smartphones, both on Windows Phone, and access the Settings from the button at the top.
Then go to Account to find the new two-step verification option.
Touch to activate it and write a 6-digit code that you will need to remember and which actually represents the password to access your account when you change your phone or if you reset the Whatsapp application.
Tap " Next " and confirm the access code again.
Fortunately, it is then possible to indicate an email address where you can receive a temporary code in case you forget the personalized two-step verification code.
The email will then serve, in case of problems, to recover and restore the Whatsapp account even if it is blocked or hacked.
If you no longer remember the access code and an email address was not provided, the Whatsapp account is blocked for 7 days.
If you log back into your Whatsapp account after 30 days, a new one is created and the old one is deleted.
After confirming the email address, WhatsApp will tell us that 2-step verification has been activated.
