Create posters and posters (large images) to print

Everyone at home has or had posters stuck on the wall.
I'm talking about large printed images, these posters, which are often found in small evening markets or from street vendors in the historic centers of large cities, where there are enlarged posters of cinema films and great classics, sports characters, famous paintings, known faces, famous people, beautiful girls, written rules of life and so on.
Posters often suggest the garbage that is posted on walls during political elections or billboards and choreographic stadium or concert posters.
In many schools, universities and also, sometimes in companies and offices it is customary to post a motivational poster or a large poster on the walls with the basic rules, for example, of chemistry or economics.
The poster is more than a photo, it is a large image that captures the view and is easily remembered.
A poster can be created on the computer with free programs that make it absolutely customizable, or you can download large images for posters and posters to be printed at home for free.
Even if you can print a poster or even a large poster with a normal color printer, I cannot underestimate the fact that it will cost a lot of ink.
I also remember that you can enlarge an image or a photo, perhaps transforming it into a vector image.
To create a personalized poster on the computer starting from an image, you can use some free and alternative programs .
1) The Rasterbator software allows you to divide an image into small pieces to be printed on an A4 sheet, with the normal home printer, and then reassemble them manually .
The use of the program is quite simple: you load the image by selecting it from among those of the computer, you choose the size of each individual box in which it will be broken up, you define the size you want of the poster, in width and height (you can also make a banner of 20 meters), specify the color settings and then proceed with printing.
Rasterbator creates huge images from any photo used .
2) Easy Poster Printer is an excellent free Windows program, to print posters and large images from your PC even with a normal printer and A4 sheets (or even use larger sheets if possible).
The program allows you to divide the high resolution image or photo into many squares and to print them one after the other in different sheets which will then be recomposed and glued together.
Large posters up to 20 by 20 meters can be printed.
3) PosteRazor is a very small and simple opensource software that allows you to easily make your own poster or poster at home.
To try Posterazor, all you need is an idea and a standard color printer.
PosteRazor takes any image as an input file, cuts it into pieces that can be printed individually on normal A4 full-page sheets.
The cut pieces can then be assembled by hand into a complete poster, gluing the edges together.
PosteRazor has a very simple interface and can be downloaded and used on Windows, Mac OSX and Linux computers.
It supports a large number of image formats such as - BMP, DDS, GIF, ICO, IFF, JBIG, JPEG / jif, PNG, PPM, Photoshop PSD, TIFF and many others.
4) Poster Forge is a very easy to use program that allows you to create posters using your own photos and to create some classic posters such as those of the Wanted or of famous films.
If you don't want to install any program on your PC, you can also create online posters to print on web applications such as DesignCap
If you do not have too much imagination on which image to use to create the poster to print to embellish the walls of a room or for other purposes, then you can download some large images or photos for posters already made, very beautiful and themed .
These posters can be downloaded as images on the PC, free of charge and can then be printed with one of the programs seen above.
1) Movie Poster Archive is the largest archive of movie posters featuring the posters of the most famous American films.
There are truly remarkable pieces of cinema history and the website lists them in alphabetical order or by year of release.
2) Typographic Poster contains typographical posters.
Typography would be the art of arranging typefaces in a way pleasing to the eye.
This site, done completely in flash, offers about 400 categories of posters of any type and really very beautiful and artistic to see.
The posters are scrolled with the mouse, clicking on one of them with the right mouse button you can choose to display the image alone in full screen ( Open Imagine In a new Windows ).
Once you open the image, you will notice that it has small dimensions, then, just change the letter m with the letter l in the address bar link and see it in full resolution, which can be saved and printed.
On the site there is also a box to search for a theme or topic for which you want the poster.
