Truecaller is the name of a rather famous and indispensable application for everyone, now, because it is able to block before the phone can ring, the calls of the call centers, those annoying and frequent calls that propose to change the telephone operator, of the gas, electricity and much more. TrueCaller functions as a centralized directory of blocked numbers from which the commercial calls of the call centers originate, making them appear as always busy.
While on Android smartphones, Truecaller has always worked well in blocking call center calls, on iPhone its effectiveness has remained more limited due to the impossibility of really stopping calls, at least until today.
With the latest iOS 10 update, in fact, Truecaller can integrate with the system and the iPhone becomes able to automatically identify if the call has already been reported by other users as spam or annoying and also allows you to add the numbers blocked by Truecaller the call blocking feature already includes in the iPhone .
To obtain this fundamental function on the iPhone and block calls from the Call Centers, you must therefore download TrueCaller and install the free application (obviously the iPhone must be updated to iOS 10).
Open the app and register an account also providing the phone number used on the mobile phone.
After putting the application into operation and granting all permissions, in particular to the Contacts section and to phone notifications.
To make Truecaller truly effective, however, you need to go to the iPhone Settings, in the Phone> Call barring and identification section to allow the Truecaller app to block calls and also provide the caller ID .
If before the iPhone was still ringing when you received a call from a call center or unwanted numbers, now these calls can be just blocked in the bud and you can also avoid the ringing of the phone.
This app therefore now becomes the most effective weapon against any unwanted call, commercial or promotional.
From the Truecaller app you can then update the unwanted IDs and then go to the More -> settings menu, to activate the " more hassles> Save as contact " option so you can enter the numbers of the call centers that call us to the blocked contacts.
Optionally, in Settings -> Privacy of Truecaller, you can change the option " who can have my contacts " by placing only requests.
TrueCaller on iPhone can also be used instead of the Phone app to make calls and browse the phone book.
The Truecaller app for Android, on the other hand, is completely automatic and integrates into the system without having to make particular configurations, only granting authorizations and registering the number in order to take advantage of the automatic blocking of calls from call centers.
