With this app you can read news and articles on the type of topic you prefer (expressing one or more preferences at first start), add the most reliable sources and the feed of all the major online newspapers available in Italy. Its particularity is vertical reading: if the site is compatible with the Flipboard view, simply open the link for a news or article and scroll downwards to change the page. The optimization of the app is really excellent: all the sites will offer images resized to the size of the screen, so as not to disturb them while reading.

Another very useful app with which to read newspapers online is Microsoft News, available for free for Android and iOS.

Feedly
What we consider without a doubt the best app for reading news from newspapers (but also articles and insights) is Feedly, available for free for Android and iOS.
This app allows you to read the news of all the newspapers that support the RSS feed, that is, the network stream that can be used to immediately receive new news published by a site. We won't even have to worry about retrieving the single RSS feed from the various sites: we use the internal search engine to find the site or newspaper we intend to follow immediately and add it to our aggregator.
From now on, it is sufficient to open a newspaper's feed to read the unread news, both in preview and in full text mode (for compatible sites); to read all the new news we can also take advantage of the Today screen, from which you can only read the news released in the last 24 hours.
If the new interface of Feedly does not convince you or runs too slow on your old smartphone, we can also take advantage of the Feedly Classic app, substantially identical but with the old interface, fast and without too many graphic trappings; we can download it for free for Android and iOS.
