Identify objects in pictures (Android)

The recognition of objects in photos is a very powerful artificial intelligence technology, which has been experimented for years with variable success.
The ones that have come closest to providing an adequate and better tool than the others is Google, which has been making it possible to search the internet through images for some time and has tried various experiments in this sense, culminating with the Google Goggles application which, however, does not it has been updated since 2014 and cannot be said to be up to now.
Google has however refined its technology for recognizing things in photographs and on Android has enabled a very simple and very hidden trick that allows you to identify an object from the camera in various ways, using the Google Now Everywhere function.

First of all, thanks to the Google Lens function, you can also recognize objects in photos and images using Google Photos .
By opening an image with Google Photos, you can press the Lens button, with the shape of a square with a dot in the center, to be able to do searches on Google based on what it appears, then know what it means written, signals and all that there is.
As explained in the past, Now Everywhere on Android is used to search from every app .
What few people know is that you can use Now Anywhere, now called Google Assistant, it also allows you to recognize objects and subjects within an image .
To use this function ii must open the camera application, aim the lens to frame a particular object, for example a can of beer or a monument or a product in the supermarket and then do not take the photo, but keep the key pressed Home, which is what activates Now Everywhere.
After a few seconds of processing, the name of the object in the photo appears at the bottom or a quick link to upload the image to Google and search for similar images quickly and directly.
This system of recognition and identification of objects in photos also works on photos in the gallery, by touching and holding the Home button (the central one) on the smartphone while opening a photo in full screen.
Now Everywhere is designed to work on every screen and also proves intelligent in image search.
The nice thing is that if Google can recognize the content of the image, it should also then provide relevant information about the object of the photo such as who made it, where you can buy it, the price or the article on Wikipedia who talks about it.
I remember that Google also uses a similar technology for the translation of written with the camera through the Google Translate app.
