Another new app by Google is noticed on the store for Android smartphones becoming immediately important, useful and functional. This time it is Android Auto, which is not new for those who had a compatible car or car radio, but which can now be used at any time, from all smartphones, without the need to make any connections .
Android Auto is the type of application that transforms the interface of the phone so that it is comfortable to use when holding the phone with the screen on in front of the eyes while driving and which, in practice, transforms the mobile phone into an on-board computer .
The latest version of the application can be used to view weather conditions, traffic conditions, the navigator and also to listen to music and make calls.

The Android Auto app can be downloaded directly from the Play Store, free of charge, usable with an Android Auto system or even without the need to connect a compatible stereo or car.
With Android Auto, once you have given all the permissions that the application needs, you can immediately get an overview of the traffic to get home and work (according to the addresses indicated in the Google Maps settings) and the weather situation.
There are three buttons at the bottom to quickly launch Google Maps, to make calls and to start listening to music via apps such as Spotify, TuneIn or Google Play Music.
At the top right there is a microphone that you can touch to give instructions to your cell phone without using your hands.
Obviously, the " Ok Google " voice call works to be able to give commands without ever touching the phone screen.

Touching the button with three lines you access the settings, where you can choose whether to keep the screen always on, whether to activate the app automatically when connected to a particular bluetooth device (such as the car radio), limit the wifi when running.
Obviously this application requires that the mobile phone is connected to the car charger and that it is placed on a suitable support (as explained in the article on how to connect the smartphone in the car).
As mentioned above, Android Auto is not the only app of this type and you can turn your mobile phone into an on-board computer with other similar apps.
