Microsoft is releasing, starting today, the November 2019 update of Windows 10 which brings the system to version 1909 . The peculiarity of the Update 1909 is that after 4 years of updates released every six months with many changes and additions of features that required a new installation of Windows 10 each time, this time it is an update to bring stability to the system, which does not require a new installation.
With the November 2019 update, Microsoft has in fact taken a different approach than the previous feature updates. This is therefore a much more cautious update than the previous ones, which largely focuses on performance improvements and bug fixes.
So let's see how you can update Windows 10 to version 1909 on your PC .
First of all, check the version of Windows 10 installed on your computer. The fastest way is to press the Windows-R keys together and then write and run the winver command. The version number that will have to be 1903 in order to make this update will appear in the box. If it were not this, it would be better to download the Windows 10 1903 update and then proceed with the 1909 (or you can force the update to 1909 directly as we will see below in this same guide).
At this point, to install the 1909 version of Windows 10 proceed as follows.
Open the Start menu and click on the gear icon that leads to Settings (you can also right-click on the Start menu to find the direct link to Settings ).
Go to Update and Security and press the Check for updates button.
After a few minutes of research, the wording Update of features to Windows 10, version 1909 should appear.
Press the Download and install now link to start downloading and installing the new version of November.
In the event that other updates appear, you will first need to download and install these updates and patches, then restart the computer, repeat the verification for new updates (I have done it three times since I was evidently back) until they are all installed and you will see the availability of the update of the features.
The installation of this update is, surprisingly, quick and painless and will lead, after a restart and a quick upload, to the new version of Windows 10 without any problems and without waiting (in my case it took 5 minutes).

Since the version of May 2019 is still marked, you can download the Media Creation Tool 1909 from this direct link . Once downloaded, you can run the program to do a guided update. Proceeding with the update in this way everything will be much slower, but still no personal files will be deleted and no programs removed.
If you want to download the ISO of Windows 10 latest version November 2019 there is a trick : On the Windows 10 download page, press the right mouse button (if you are using Chrome) and press on Inspect . In the box below that appears, press on the smartphone icon, the one with a double rectangle located near the word Elements, in the top row of the box. Once the mobile version of the website is activated, press the drop-down menu at the top center that allows you to choose the smartphone model to be emulated. Here you have to put iPad Pro . Reload the page (by pressing the reload button at the top or the F5 key) and note that, by pressing on the Select Edition menu, Windows 10 November 2019 Update will be available. Select it, then select the Italian language and then press the button for the download of Windows 10 64 bit or 32 bit in Italian . Note that in this case, however, the entire operating system must be downloaded, which in the 64-bit version is a 5 GB ISO file.

Notifications have been improved with the addition of more understandable notification images and banners. Notification options can be configured in Settings> System> Notifications and Actions, where notification sounds can now be turned on or off.
The search box in File Explorer is now supported by Windows Search, so you can find results from Onedrive online along with traditional search results.
