Finding what's causing problems in Windows 10 7 and 8 (reliability monitoring)

On a PC with Windows 7, Windows 10 and also with Windows 8.1, if serious error messages, program freezes or computer crashes appear, there is a way to see what caused the problem without using external programs.
In another article we have also seen how to analyze Windows "blue screen" crashes and the most experts know very well how to correct Windows errors from the event log identifying any problems from the messages automatically generated on the system.
Reading the event log is not a simple thing because of the abundance of information and the technical language, often difficult to interpret.
Here then in Windows 7, Windows 10 and 8.1 has been put a tool called Reliability Monitoring .
For example, if a crash occurs with " Blue Screen of Death " (BSOD), you can retrieve the error information from the reliability history.
The graph, very intuitive and easy to read, can also help you find out if a particular application or program has problems.
The report is a calendar where, for each day of the year, each type of event occurred on the PC is indicated.
If there is a red cross, it means that a critical error occurred on that day and it is easy to understand which program or process was causing the problem.
To open the Reliability Monitoring (very hidden), you must open the Operations Center from the Control Panel (it is under System and Security in the Category view).
Then expand where Maintenance is written and click on the link " view reliability history ".
To do this first, you can also click on the Start Menu and then search for the word reliability in the search box or type the perfmon / rel command on the run box.
The calendar can be viewed by days or by weeks.
You can click on any date to see a report of information, critical events and warnings (yellow icon).
For each event, you can read more details from the Action column.
The report is extremely interesting to find out if there is any program that slows down the computer because it fails or fails to start or to find out the cause of some application malfunction.
