Sleipnir: the best of all web browsers in one

Updated on 2.8.14
To great surprise I have to celebrate another alternative web browser that I recommend everyone to try for its convenience and functional effectiveness.
This is the Sleipnir browser, for Windows and Mac, developed in Japan, which combines the best of all the most famous browsers: Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox .
It also has a clear integration with social networks, "Cloud" sharing and storage services and an online synchronization system for favorite sites so that they are always available both on mobile and on the computer.
Sleipnir (the name has a mythological origin) is not a new browser, it has already existed for several years but its latest version opens a new way of surfing the internet, giving a single tool to control every resource that no other browser can provide.
To begin with, the browser runs very quickly, opening sites like Chrome does, without any delay.
It is fully compatible with any type of HTML5 application and is very quick to load any site.
This is because it is powered by the Blink rendering engine, that of Chrome and Opera.
Using Blink, the settings screen is similar to that of Chrome and very familiar.
Tabs are displayed as thumbnails at the top of the window, rather than as text strings.
The strengths of the Sleipnir browser are at least 5 :
1) You can navigate with a tabbed interface and groups of tabs .
In fact, at the top left it is possible to open new site cards and then new groups of cards which is a really useful thing for those who use to open many sites all together.
2) If you are already using Google Chrome Browser on your computer, Sleipnir imports all Chrome settings, including extensions and favorite sites .
3) Sleipnir integrates with various social networks to share every web page on the internet.
You can click the Share Page button located at the top right to share a site.
To start sharing, you need to create a new account called Fenrir Pass (right arrow button) to which you can then connect all the social networks used.
In addition to Facebook, Twitter and Google+, you can also create a link with Dropbox and Skydrive to save files on the internet directly in your online storage space.
Each file can then be downloaded to the virtual hard disk (by pressing the download link with the right button) so as to be available on each configured PC.
When you right- click on an image or photo, you can immediately upload and share it on a social network such as Facebook or Twitter .
4) Among the sharing options there is also that of being able to send any link to your mobile phone where the Sleipnir Linker is installed.
The Sleipnir application is available for both iPhone and Android .
To send a link to the smartphone, simply press the mobile phone button on the address bar.
5) One thing I particularly liked about Sleipinir is the full screen mode, similar to the Metro version of Internet Explorer 10 in Windows 8 .
I already said that Internet Explorer always full screen is much better, now with Sleipinir the full screen mode is truly exceptional, fully usable, with the tabs selectable from the bottom, the address bar at the top and the sharing buttons at the top right .
Sleipnir also supports external plug-ins, scripts and has tons of customization options.
For those who use updating using the Feeds and often connect to Google Reader, Sleipnir also provides a feed reader that integrates with Google Reader and allows you to divide the sources by categories and favorites.
You can also follow RSS feeds from Facebook, Google News, Instagram and many other sites.
After doing some tests, you will find how this browser combines the best of all the others : graphical aspect similar to Firefox, functionality similar to Chrome with the addition of the full screen mode of Internet Explorer 10.
The only flaw: it is only in English and, for now, Sleipnir cannot be installed in the Italian version.
To download Sleipnir, in Mac or Windows version, you can go to the official website
Sleipnr also exists as a mobile b rowser for Android smartphones and tablets, for iPhone and iPad .
