This is not one of the many Ccleaner-like programs that cleans your computer of obsolete and temporary files to free up some space and remove traces. Privazer is much more and is among the best cleaning programs for Windows, capable of erasing everything that is not needed from the hard disk permanently and safely.
Privazer provides a semi-automatic procedure that leads to cleaning up Windows and removing recent traces of the computer, unnecessary files, temporary files, old and historical data .

Furthermore with Privazer you can free up space not only on the hard disk but also on other external disks, USB sticks and on other units such as the memory card of the camera or mobile phone.
Privazer can be downloaded for free from the official website, works on all versions of Windows 32 and 64 bit and, on the first run, allows you to choose whether to scan immediately or install the program.
It can therefore be used as a portable tool and the installation file can be copied to a USB stick so that it can also be used on other PCs, without making installations.
What is not secondary, you can also select the Italian language so as to understand perfectly what it does.
At the first start it is better to choose the option from Expert User and then follow the steps of the wizard choosing what to do with all the various elements.
In the latest version of Privazer there are 12 removal requests :

It can be seen, during the first analysis, that the scan involves things that Ccleaner and other similar programs don't consider.
For example, there is a control of residual traces of data on the free space and that also goes to clean up the Master File Table (MFT), which will be full of stuff now useless and to be deleted.
Deleting the free space means making the removed files no longer recoverable (see the article on how to delete the free disk space and making the files unrecoverable)
For each option, during the scan, you can see the files that will then be deleted by cleaning.
The duration of the scan depends on the size of the disk and the amount of data and tracks left, and can take up to 2 hours (even longer) to complete.
If you choose to install Privazer, you will also find the complete file deletion item in the menu that appears by right-clicking on a file.
This function allows you to make this file no longer recoverable.
There are also options on the right click menu to delete tracks when pressed on the trash can icon and on a hard disk or any other disk.
If not already done in the past, I recommend trying this program to clean up Windows from recent traces and useless files specific traces of use of all the programs present on the computer distinguishes this tool which, however, must be used with some care.
It is positive to eliminate all traces of use, however one should not take and delete everything he has found with his eyes closed but look at the type of data found and choose, for each one, what to do with it, whether to keep it or not.
