Recorder steps Windows 7 and 8 to create a guide with images

Many of the articles I write here would like to be addressed especially to those who can't do things on the computer, but the less experienced rarely read this type of blog.
So I turn to professionals in the IT field and to people who know how to move with Windows, who delight in discovering new things and solving problems.
Without a doubt, these people will have had to explain to friends, relatives or colleagues or customers how to do something on the computer or how to solve a problem when it occurs.
And if help is to be given over the phone, things get complicated and giving instructions becomes a real undertaking.
In another article I have already written how to use the wonderful TeamViewer 7 tool to give remote assistance and work remotely on a computer.
To give instructions on some operation, on the use of a program or on solving computer problems, there is nothing better than recording, step by step, every operation and everything you do on your computer with images .
In Windows 7 and Windows 8 there is a program that creates this guide automatically and is called Pass Recorder, one of the best accessories of Windows 7, the pass recorder.
This integrated utility records the exact steps that the user does with the mouse and keyboard, capturing a series of screenshots (images) and saving everything in a single MHT file.
This file can then be sent via email as an attachment and those who receive it can open it on the normal browser and see all the commented images, as in the best illustrated step-by-step guide.
To start the step recorder, press Start and write in the search bar, psr or record steps and press Enter.
A bar opens with a single clickable button " Start recording ".
On the right side there is a down arrow that leads to the settings where you can select where to save the recording and whether to capture images.
The default number of images to be recorded is fixed at 25, but it can be increased.
When the record button is pressed, the computer can be used to try to recreate a problem or to explain how to perform an operation and every action, every click, every open window is recorded with an image.
If you then click on " Add comment ", the tool gives you the opportunity to write a text note and to select the part of the screen concerned with the mouse by focusing it.
At the end, you can click on Stop recording and save the file with name as ZIP.
The ZIP can be sent by email and contains a single web page to be opened with the browser, which contains all the screenshots, comments and description of each click.
Since the registration is an MHT text and image file, the automatically generated guide can also be printed normally from the web browser.
The Problem Steps Recorder is an excellent solution in Windows 7 and Windows 8 to send tutorials, guides, instructions and anything else about the operation of a program or for troubleshooting.
