Automatic family photo collection in Google Photos

A really convenient, interesting and important new feature has appeared in Google Photos to unify the photos we took with our smartphone and those of another person who may be a friend, spouse, brother, sister or relative .
The beauty is that the sharing of the collection of photographs can also concern only the images where the faces of one or more specific people appear, taking full advantage of facial recognition .
For example, therefore, mom and dad can share the collection of photos taken of the young child as if they were always taken with a single mobile phone, thus displaying both the same photos and creating a single large collection visible to both parents on their phone.
Photo sharing in Google Photos can be activated on both Android and iPhone, even for a single image or for all the photos taken and stored in the Google cloud, or even only those taken from today or from a certain day onwards

First of all, therefore, it is appropriate to activate facial recognition in Google Photos on Android and iPhone, as explained in the guide.
Facial recognition is a function available only in the USA, but thanks to a banal trick it is possible to use it also in Italy without any difficulty.
The function for sharing photos is located in the main menu of Google Photos, which is opened by touching the button at the top left with three lines.
You can then choose the person to share the photo collection with, who must use the Google app themselves.
By activating automatic sharing, you can then choose whether to share all the images starting today or all of the past.
Additionally, if face grouping has been turned on, you can only share photos of specific people, one or even more.
Instead of having to share photos manually every time they are taken, therefore, it is now possible to automate the process and make, for example, the photos in which I and another person (my wife or friend) are automatically shared with this person.
The sharing function is, for now, limited to one person so it is not possible to create different collections to share with different people.
You can choose one of the available contacts or add a Google Account email address to share with.
The person receiving the sharing invitation should open the message in Gmail or find the notification in the Google Photos menu.
If you wish, you can stop sharing and the collection will disappear from the other person's list.
Alternatively, there is still a good chance to create a shared and collaborative album or to share individual photos, even if they are non-automatic operations.
