Similar to Second Life, the virtual world of Frenzoo focuses only on fashion in a fashion world in which very carefully designed avatars go dressed in more beautiful and tasteful clothing and objects than the others. A real competition between virtual stylists who compete with those who dress better.
So if on Second Life or Frenzoo you can try many styles and many combinations of clothes, only in the last year some sites and some famous brands have woken up discovering that the possibility of selling clothing online.
To sell a dress online, it must first be tried and here the most advanced web applications come into play, of which, for now, there is little but that little is worth seeing.
1) The best site to try on clothes online and perhaps the only one (I gladly accept denials) that really gives the sensation of being inside a shop is the Dressing Room of the Trimirror site .
The mannequin is not drawn, it is not an avatar or a manga but a real and animated person and the one in front of us is a virtual model . The site features only female, intimate clothing . The model can be customized according to the size of the woman or girl who wants to try on the underwear available at the online boutique. There are 5 real models, each with a different size who are moved on command: they can turn around or approach and walk. On the model you can try briefs, thongs, bras, costumes, nightgowns, babydolls and all the things that can also be found from Intimissimi or Calzedonia, of all the commercial brands that are there.

In this case the avatar of the model or the model is drawn but you can completely customize it by entering the measurements and your size, hair color, build and face can become your own with a very realistic photomontage .

5) Fitnect is a shopping program where you can try on clothes in a virtual shop and buy them as if you were at the mall, by touching and wearing them.
7) The best application is that of the Zugara website which proposes something never seen and innovative which, however, cannot be tried yet.
Basically it is based on the webcam and on an Augmented Reality effect similar to the one we saw for Virtual Mirror which is used to try on glasses. Augmented reality means applying digital objects drawn in 3D on real objects of a photo or video.
In this case, filmed by a webcam, the program should put us in a Minority Report style environment where you have to touch fake buttons to choose the fake and virtual clothes that, seen on video, seem real and are really worn.
To close, I had also found a game for girls, MakeOver Designer, very simple and manga-style with which you can spend a fun half hour.
