For example, it becomes a bar to search for videos on Youtube, to search for addresses and directions on Google Maps, to search for images and news .

Those who already used the Google Toolbar should be automatically updated to the new version.
My opinion on the Google Toolbar 7 is absolutely positive but I find the new Bing bar much more beautiful and more interactive because it also incorporates the Email, Facebook and weather forecast notifications even if it is decidedly more fixed and less customizable.
However, the choice between one and the other depends on the services used the most and on the need or not to have a global search bar always available.
