How to Create 3D Photos to be published on Facebook

Facebook has a really cool new feature that allows you to make really nice 3D photos . This photography mode puts the photographed object in the foreground by slightly blurring the background, giving realistic depth and movement . The final effect seems to be that of a virtual reality image that can be moved using the mouse as if entering it.
When you see a 3D photo on Facebook from a smartphone, you can scroll or tilt the device to slightly change the perspective . These 3D images are also compatible with VR (Virtual Reality) viewers in order to see them as if you were in the photographed place, entering it.
The 3D photo of Facebook, which make photos much more engaging and fun, can only be taken with smartphones equipped with dual cameras using the Facebook app that automatically applies the three-dimensional effect.
UPDATE: To create 3D photos with Facebook it is no longer necessary to have an iPhone, you can in fact create 3D photos with all Android smartphones and even iPhones, taking any shot saved in the phone gallery. 3D Photos can only be uploaded to Facebook using the official Facebook mobile app.
To transform a photo into 3D photos then open the Facebook app to create a new post and scroll through all the publishing options: Photos, Mood, Register, GIF, Broadcast and then also 3D Photos . (on iPhone, touch the icon with three dots to display the publishing options and then choose the 3D Photo option). This will open the gallery of photos taken with the mobile phone, of those made in portrait mode, which you can choose to be able to automatically transform it into 3D .
To have a better performance in creating and sharing a 3D photo on Facebook, it is necessary to consider that not all photos can be transformed with this special effect. The best results are obtained if the main subject is about one meter away and if the photo has multiple levels of depth (for example a photo at the sea or in a field of flowers). The photographed subjects must be consistent and well defined, they should not be transparent and there must be a certain contrast of colors between the subject and the background.
