Before putting Windows 10, prepare your PC

The wait has been long and, at the same time, many would like to immediately switch to the new operating system to try it and to improve the performance and functions of the PC.
Even if there are several novelties, however, those who want to update the PC should stop for a moment before pressing the installation button and prepare the PC in order to avoid any kind of problem and not lose any files or programs.
Before putting Windows 10 then there are at least 4 things to do and check to be sure that everything is fine before proceeding with the installation.
First you need to check the compatibility of your PC with Windows 10 .
Although this check is fine, if you are using old programs that have not been updated for some time, better wait and google for any problems with Windows 10.
While all the programs that work with Windows 8.1 will work in Windows 10, the same cannot be said for those installed in Windows 7 so better to wait and do the necessary research before putting Windows 10.
If you are using an old PC and it is important that it continues to work to work, it would be better not to install Windows 10 and leave everything as it is.
The same goes for a PC with Windows Vista, which is still supported by Microsoft, which can have problems with Windows 10, which update is not even free.
