Improve PC volume control with more comfortable programs

All versions of Windows have always had the same type of volume control, although with Windows 10 this has evolved somewhat graphically.
The problem with the volume with the PC is that to adjust it, raise or lower it, you must always press the uncomfortable, small, speaker icon that manages nothing but the main volume, changing it for all programs.
Much better, however, replace the PC volume controller with a richer one of options, which allows you to manage all the sound cards separately, (for example headphones and speakers) and which also allows you to turn up the volume only for one program, leaving mute others, which is very convenient, for example, when listening to music while doing other things and not wanting to disturb.
It can also be convenient to install a way to control the volume more quickly, without having to click on the speaker icon.

This free app replaces the default mixer on Windows 10, giving you control over the individual volumes of apps and playback devices .
The app, recently arrived at version 2.0, is really powerful and functional and just installed it appears with the same icon of the Windows volume, in the taskbar.
The features that make it better than the default audio mixer, are the separate control of the audio of apps and programs and then the ability to choose the audio device from which to hear music or sounds, moving a program with the mouse under the sound card that must use.
In addition, with EarTRumpet it is possible to mute the sound by pressing the middle mouse button on its icon, you can see the volume bar move when there is audio playing and you can open the volume control box using a shortcut of keys of your choice .
By pressing the right mouse button on the EarTrumpet icon you can access the settings to change this key combination, which by default is CTRL-Shift-Q.
The best thing about EarTrumpet is that it integrates perfectly into Windows 10, so much so as not to seem even an external program, with the same graphics as the normal mixer.
When you press an app's audio icon with the right button, it stays in focus while all other parts of the app are blurred in the background.
By pressing the button of the double arrows it is possible to choose the audio output to listen to the sounds or music coming from that application.
Basically, Ear Trumpet is the best audio mixer for Windows 10 and it's really worth using.
If you are satisfied, you can hide the default volume icon by pressing the right mouse button on the taskbar and then going to the settings.
From the settings window, scroll down and click on " activate deactivate system icons ".
For the volume icon, turn off the switch to make it disappear.
Hence, Eartrumpet becomes the only icon to control the volume.
Another excellent program is WALE (Windows Audio Loudness Equalizer) which separately controls the volume of each app and does it automatically.
By calculating the appropriate volume, WALE immediately lowers it when the peak exceeds the desired level.
Free, available in a portable format and accessible from the taskbar, WALE is an excellent way to adjust the volume of the Windows PC for each program and audio output.
If you don't have Windows 10, in Windows 7 it is still possible to make the audio mixer more comfortable and better to turn the volume up and down using a program like 3rvx .
This small tool not only shows better graphics than the volume bar, but also allows you to change it via the PC keyboard, using two buttons of your choice.
Once activated, an icon appears in the middle of the bottom of the screen, which remains invisible.
The position of the icon can be changed, bringing it to the center of the screen or to a customized position.
The program can be set to run at system startup, and its display can be set to always be above the other windows.
If you don't like it, you can use the good old volume control gadget in Windows 7.
The gadget is positioned on the desktop in a chosen position and shows the wheel to increase the volume, also of each speaker or speaker.
Finally, I also remember the Volumouse program, my favorite for years, which once run and held in the background allows you to turn the volume up and down using the mouse wheel when turned on the taskbar.
