Burberry, a company that sells lipsticks, in collaboration with Google has created a promotional web application that allows you to send a real kiss to a loved one, even if he is on the other side of the world. You can then write a personal message and send a small letter via email using this interactive and very romantic web application.

To send a kiss message, connect to kisses.burberry.com and then turn on or authorize the webcam.
What the site asks is to take a photo of our lips closed in the form of a kiss so, following the guided procedure, you have to stand in front of the webcam in order to be photographed only the mouth.
The application captures the shape of the lips and draws a kiss with lipstick, as if it had really been done, on the envelope of the letters.
The site will detect the outline of the actual lips and you can choose to use a different lipstick color.
If you are using a touchscreen smartphone or a tablet, the mobile version of the Burberry website opens and instead of using the webcam, you can capture the imprint of the lips by kissing the screen (let's give it a clean one before doing it).
After kissing the envelope, you can write the message, the name of the recipient, the city where he is and where we are, his email address and ours.
After sending, you can enjoy the animation that shows how the message travels from one city to another, through a 3D landscape.
The recipient will receive an email, from which you can see the same animated trip and read the message (the site however asks to install Google Chrome browser to see it)
From the application it is also possible to see the world map of all the kisses that are sent from all over the world which however remain absolutely private and anonymous, unless you choose to share them on Facebook or Google+.
