Facebook Web Messenger to chat from the PC browser as from a mobile phone

The Facebook Messenger has now become an increasingly important app, an indispensable messaging and chat service to communicate with friends from both PC and mobile phone.
From now, those who use Facebook especially to chat with friends, can also not open the main social network site and open the chat on the PC browser from the Facebook Web Messenger site .
Like the Messenger mobile application, from which it also takes up the graphic aspect, the web platform is a chat completely separate from the rest of the Facebook site.
While the mobile application is mandatory for chatting, the web Messenger remains an additional option on the computer as the classic chat on the Facebook.com site is not destined to disappear.
The best feature of the Facebook Web Messenger site, and also its reason for existing, is the simple possibility of chatting without being distracted by other things as is the case on the main site.
To access the Facebook Messenger chat via the web, simply open the page //www.messenger.com/ and log in with your account.
From the gear button at the top left you can disable the sounds and optionally activate the notifications on the desktop so as to be notified when a new message arrives even without keeping the chat page open all the time.
On the left side, you can see that hovering the mouse over the names appears a small button with three dots.
By pressing it you can delete or archive a conversation, block it by putting it in "mute" mode or even mark all messages as read or as spam.
To send a new message to one of our Facebook contacts, click on the search box at the top left.
The list of open chats disappears and the list of friends appears on which you can click to open new conversations.
You can also just press the + at the top right to start a new conversation by writing the names of the recipients at the top and the message at the bottom.
Even if it doesn't work now, you can also make a voice call via Messenger or a video call using the buttons at the top right.
In every conversation, from the buttons below, you can also send photos (or any other type of file) from your computer, emoticons and stickers.
The Messenger web page can also be reached from the m.me site which is then used to identify each user with a unique URL.
For example, to chat with me just go to the page m.me/pomhey while to follow CNN m.me/cnn and so on.
