Eliminate unnecessary extensions and toolbars from Chrome, Firefox and IE

One of the most difficult cancers to eradicate in the IT world is represented by the toolbars that install themselves and automatically on web browsers.
Almost all of us have found, on several occasions, an additional button bar on Internet Explorer which has always been the one most affected by this problem.
Starting from the Google Toolbar (which was also the most innocent), we moved on to the useless and harmful bars of Babylon, Ask and then others such as the Incredibar or the AVG bar which should protect navigation.
Since other browsers such as Chrome and Firefox do not support the toolbar, the companies developing plugins for browsers have evolved by releasing self-installing extensions that often accompany themselves as sponsors of free programs (luckily with Chrome 25 silent installations are blocked) .
So if you use various browsers on your computer (Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome) and you want to make a check about extensions, plugins and toolbars, often superfluous and always useless, which slow down browsing and violate privacy, which are installed on the computer, you can use a new tool called Avast Toolbar Cleaner
It allows, easily and quickly, to delete and uninstall all plugins and browser extensions considered dangerous or in any case not useful and of poor reputation.
UPDATE: For those who use Chrome, the malicious extension control program is already integrated. You can therefore correct errors in Chrome with the Google Software Cleaner .
The web browser cleaning tool, recently also integrated in the latest version of the Avast antivirus, is used to check all the add-ons installed on the browsers present on a Windows PC, detecting which, if any, are those with a bad reputation, which they use aggressive techniques to manipulate and modify internet browsing settings.
The Browser Cleanup program (no longer exists) can be downloaded, free and in Italian, as a stand-alone application that can be run without making installations.
Checking and cleaning is compatible with all recent 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows.
You can then delete programs, plug-ins and extensions from Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome .
Opera and other web browsers are unfortunately not supported.
All you have to do is run the program on your computer (as administrator), wait for the scan to finish and then press the button to disable any plugins or toolbars detected as malicious.
The most useful part of the program, however, is in the possibility of seeing the complete list of extensions installed on Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer so that you can manage them all from a single interface.
Extensions with good reputations are hidden by default (based on user ratings), but can be discovered easily by disabling the filter.
For each browser there is also a button to reset all settings to default defaults which is convenient when there seems to be something wrong or if the homepage or search engine of the address bar has been changed.
A similar function, which also offers better control, is the tool included in the latest version of Ccleaner where the browser extension manager is found in the tools and can therefore be removed with a quick click.
Remember that in another article there is the detailed guide, both manual and automatic, to remove adware and toolbars such as Babylon, incredibar MyStart, Ask and others .
