Differences between laptops: what does Ultrabook or Notebook mean?

Although in sharp decline in recent years, laptops are certainly not destined to disappear from circulation and, indeed, it is easy to imagine their revival.
Tablets are not a passing fad, but inevitably they serve a different market from that of traditional PCs which cannot be replaced by tablets for certain activities and which, undoubtedly, are more comfortable for writing and working completely.
The revival of laptops, which has already been in place for several years, passes through a technological renewal and a differentiation of models.
For this reason, when you search online or go to stores, you can find different names of laptops such as: Netbook, Ultrabook, Notebook, Laptop, depending on the size and other features.
To be more precise, we see here all the differences between laptops, to understand what it means when you find " Ultrabook " written, to know if it is only commercial terms or there are actual things more or less.

Despite the slim profile of the ultrabooks (less than 2 cm), the screen size is often that of normal notebook notebooks, 11 to 15 inches.
Most of these computers are equipped with very fast, light and quiet SSD disks which will ensure an ultra fast boot.
Although much faster, SSDs are more expensive than traditional hard drives so there will be less space and it will be difficult to find ultrabooks with more than 128 GB of disk space.

The price of Ultrabooks is generally high and varies from 700 to 1500 Euros.
The term " ultrabook " is essentially a marketing term that describes a new class of Intel laptops, designed to be light, but powerful, like the Macbook, but costing less than Apple computers and with a Windows operating system.
UUtrabooks are a good purchase for those who travel often and want something easy to carry and light, without sacrificing performance as it did for netbooks.
If portability and design are not fundamental, then it is better to buy a normal laptop, which, at the same price, is certainly more powerful and with more accessory functions.
Of the ultrabook class are also the Chromebooks, very cheap, with the Chrome OS operating system.

3) Notebook or laptop
Historically, a laptop was designed to be a replacement for a desktop PC and to be the same size as a normal monitor.
There is no distinction between the English terms Notebook and laptop which literally does not translate, but which, in fact, means laptop.
Computer manufacturers use the terms notebook and laptop interchangeably, you will rarely see the word laptop instead.
Notebooks are laptops, with sizes of 14, 15 or even 17 inches, with very variable prices, depending on the models, up to 4000 Euros for notebooks for gamers or those who work with video editing and graphics programs.
There are notebooks with a powerful graphics card also for playing 3D games, there are notebooks with or without a DVD player and generally they all have a hard disk (otherwise they would become Ultrabooks).
