Check for suspicious noises and movements with the Snowden app (for Android)

Edward Snowden, the well-known former CIA computer technician who has revealed several secrets on how the American investigation agency is able to monitor practically anyone in the world using computers and telephones, has developed, in collaboration with the Freedom of the Press Foundation and Guardian Project very special and special surveillance app .
This application only for Android, which is indicated as ideal for investigative journalists, human rights defenders and every person at risk of espionage but which can be useful to all, is used to check what happens in a room when we are not there, detecting every noise, light or suspicious movement that shouldn't be there.
The app, however original, is quite simple in its functionality, based on smartphone sensors such as the accelerometer, the camera, the microphone and the brightness sensor, it controls all measurable changes and records any activity in an event log.
To check closed rooms and rooms for any noise and movement, you need to take an old Android smartphone and install Haven Keep Watch on it which can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store.
Once installed, the first time you start, you need to configure the sensors, in particular the motion sensor that requires you to shake the phone a little in your hand, and the noise sensor, which requires you to raise your voice a little and speak.
The configuration of the sensors can be repeated and adjusted also later from the application settings menu.
The app obviously requires permission to use the sensors and also to send SMS, because when in operation it must be able to send an alert via SMS, from that mobile phone to another number.
Since this type of alert forces you to keep a SIM card on the phone used as an attendant, it is better, in the settings, to configure the alerts via Signal Messenger.
For those who do not know, Signal is one of the encrypted and secret chat apps, which Snowden has long recommended to use if you do not want to be spied on by governments, hackers or proprietary companies.
By using Signal you are guaranteed that the messages received are encrypted and readable only by us and not by others.
When the application starts and detects unusual noises or movements in front of the camera, these are recorded in a log file.
Optionally, you can also configure a server on the TOR network, which can be activated on Android by installing the Orbot app.
This way you can control what Haven detects without risking that someone, even the most experienced hacker, can intercept this transmission.
In short, even if simple Haven is an application that does things really without leaving anything to chance, which has no advertising, which is non-profit, which is completely based on open source projects, which if recommended to those who work dangerous, can be considered almost unrivaled, especially if more functions such as selective detection will be added.
