How to use groups to buy and sell on Facebook

Today on Facebook, opening the home, a link called " groups with items for sale " is highlighted on the left side which is explained as a page where you can find and publish ads to sell things.
Basically it is a section of second-hand markets where each user can freely put up for sale an object that can then be purchased by another person, meeting him live (or agreeing on a shipment).
The sales groups page (currently accessible at this link //www.facebook.com/salegroups/) is a collection with the list of some groups that gather people in the area where we live, in order to buy and sell to nearby people .
It is a virtual used-goods market where members of the various groups exchange information and agree to complete a purchase.
The sales groups are identical to the normal Facebook groups, they are of the " Purchases, sales and exchanges " type (the one to choose if you want to create a new sales group) which includes additional functions to search and sell items.
With this simple mechanism, anyone can sell something in a Facebook group.
To start selling, you need to join the chosen sales group, one with people who live in our area and that has a good number of members, and then click on the Sell something button, then publishing all the information to describe the object.
At any time you can edit the published post to sell a certain object, by clicking on the pencil icon and saving the change as you would any other Facebook post.
The important thing is, after selling the item, mark it as sold .
An item marked as sold can then be made available again if it returns for sale (or if you have multiple identical items to sell).
It is therefore clear that this is a function for private citizens and not for professional sellers.
No invoice, no receipt is required and you can buy and sell freely as you would in the second-hand markets .
It is equally clear that transactions are not guaranteed by Facebook which only becomes a bulletin board and has no responsibility for the outcome of the sale.
We must therefore take all precautions to buy online safely, being careful in recognizing scams and scams that can always be lurking.
Being Facebook, it will be important to understand if the seller has a real profile, distrusting those who instead seem to use an account created only for sales groups: without photos, without friends, without published posts.
