Download the driver of the network card to be installed on a Windows PC

With Windows 7 the situation related to the drivers has certainly improved because the new Microsoft operating system integrates a considerably greater number than the previous versions and, on standard and not too old computers, it almost always manages to find the right driver for each peripheral or device .
Briefly, drivers are those programs to be installed on the computer to make the peripherals and accessories connected to it work.
For example, to make a printer work, you must first install the driver and the same applies to make the audio work and to enable the network card that allows the PC to surf the internet.
In Windows XP but also in Vista and Windows 7, if a driver is not automatically installed by Windows itself, it is pain.
In this article there is a good solution to download and install the most important driver, that of the network card, even if it was not automatically put.
I say that it is the most important because without it the computer could not surf the internet and, therefore, they would not be able to search on Google, the other drivers of the added peripherals that, possibly, are missing.
Windows drivers can be updated and installed automatically through some tools and software but the necessary condition is that the PC is always connected to the internet otherwise any search or scan would be ineffective.
For example, when I installed Windows XP on my old desktop computer, it had not been able to automatically install the drivers for the network card, for the audio, for the RAID controller and for the video card.
Since the network card was not installed, I was left without an Internet connection and I had to search and download the drivers using another computer, to then transfer the drivers manually with the USB stick.
So I downloaded 3DP Net, a portable program that contains in itself the main drivers of the network cards used in computers and that automatically installs the right driver so that the computer can have an internet connection.
This tool automatically detects the Ethernet card and provides the newest driver, or at least the most suitable, for it .
Obviously the drivers for the network cards have them inside for an offline installation and, if the program detects that the PC is already connected to the internet, it does nothing and does not even open the graphical interface of the program.
The package archive has the size of 30 MB which must be extracted in the main folder of the disk used for the installation of Windows (for example in C: /).
To start the network driver installation program, press the 3DP_Net.exe file located in the C: \ 3DP \ Net \ 1003 folder.
The network card is automatically detected and, by clicking on the Ethernet card, the driver installation starts.
If there are two or more network cards, you can view the extra button on the right side so that you can control the other devices as well.
The installation of the driver is then very simple although it may be necessary to press Continue in case Windows warns that the software has not passed the test.
3DP Net is free and works on Windows XP, Vista and 7 .
Since if you are here you are connected to the internet, I think the important thing is to know that there is this solution and to remember it if there is a future need.
