I'm not sure of the reasons, maybe it's a question of taxes or maybe of inflation, the fact is that the same technological objects on Amazon.de are less expensive than on Amazon.it . This is not always true and depends a lot on brands, but it is important to know Amazon.de as a reliable and alternative online store, different from Amazon.it for the type of products that can be purchased, but identical for everything else.
With the same Amazon.it account, without risk and without additional costs (except a dozen Euros of shipping costs) you can buy anything on Amazon.de .
To buy in Germany there is no need to take a plane or to know German, just open the site www.amazon.de .
If you already have an account on Amazon.it, you don't need to create a new one, you can log in on the Amazon.de website with the same account .
If you don't have an Amazon account yet, go to the amazon.it website and register it in Italian, which is done much earlier.
The two sites are identical so, to access, press on Mein Konto in the upper right corner and write your email address and password.
To make the page easier to understand, it is better to use the Chrome browser to open Amazon.de because with Chrome just press the right button on the page and choose the " translate in Italian " option.
After logging in, you can search for products to compare prices and availability on the German store (for the record, in my case the purchase was a Chromebook laptop).
When you open the scehda of a product, there are two important words to look for:
- Auf Lager (in stock) to find out if it is available
- Verkauf und Versand durch Amazon to find out if it is from Amazon and not from an external store that probably does not ship to Italy.
When you are ready, you can press on In den Einkaufswagen, the yellow button on the right which means " add to cart ".
Re-enter the password if requested, then press the Zur Kasse gehen button (go to the cashier) to continue and continue in the purchase procedure indicating the shipping address and payment method.
At the end the final summary page appears where finally the total price to be paid is found, which includes shipping costs.
The confirmation of the purchase is made by pressing the Jetzt kaufen button (buy now)
Shipping costs vary according to the size of the object but do not exceed 7/12 Euros.
The wait for the arrival of the products, even if they come from Germany, will not exceed 5 working days.
As with any purchase on Amazon, you can cancel everything by going to the Bestellungen section of your personal account.
Similarly, you can ask for a refund or replacement of a defective product, which on Amazon is quite simple and without any cheating.
Shipping is at our expense but the costs will also be reimbursed.
The speech made on Amazon.de also applies to Amazon.fr (France) or Amazon.co.uk (England) even if in these countries the prices are often higher than in Italy.
