How to search on Facebook and find posts, friends and everything

With all the tools that are on Facebook, it is curious that one is missing for research.
The standard Facebook search engine is terribly limited and, as you can easily verify, it is only good for finding people by entering your name and surname, but it does not work to find posts and photos that talk about a certain topic as you can do in any another social network like Twitter.
In fact Facebook has already for several years released an internal search engine much more powerful than what we can currently use, only that, perhaps due to problems with privacy regulations, it has not yet been released to the Italian public.
Fortunately, as we will see in this article, it is very simple to activate Facebook Search in Italy and you can use it to really find anything that has been published, as long as it is visible to us.
To activate the search engine Facebook Search in Italy it is necessary, from the Homepage, to click on the word Italian which is found at the bottom in the right column. If you cannot find the Italian wording on the main page, go to Account Settings and find it there, as a clickable link.
From the box that opens by pressing on Italiano, choose the language English (US) and confirm to activate Facebook Search in a more advanced and powerful way. Then open the search.fb.com page and press the Try button which is found by scrolling down. From the Facebook search box you can now find everything you want and, precisely, do the following searches:
1) Search for friends on Facebook
As you could also do with the Italian search engine, just type the name of a friend to find friends or even friends in common. You can also search for people by writing the email address on the search bar (if it has been added to Facebook and made visible) and writing the phone number. You can try searching by phone number by trying to find yourself or a friend and checking that their profile actually appears. This type of search starting from the phone or email address is the most effective for finding old friends and distant relatives that we cannot find by name.
2) Look for posts on Facebook
If you want to know who, of the friends, wrote things about the Juventus game or about Amici, about Renzi or about Grillo or any other topic, from the American Facebook Search that we have activated, just write the word above and find among the results the various posts that include it.
From the Latest tab you can find posts that include the searched word, sorted chronologically. You can also search for posts about a topic written by a specific friend, for example "Lucia's recipes".
Note that among the results you can also find posts written by non-friends and pages that we do not follow, if these have published without visibility restrictions, in Public mode. Unfortunately, in Italian the most elaborate searches do not work, such as to find out what people who use Netflix publish.
NOTE: since Italian does not work in Facebook Search, you can do special searches in English (and understand what they are) with the help of this site //graph.tips/ with which, for example, you can find the list of Italian friends who they visited North Korea, the posts that a person commented on and also what photos a friend took or in which photos a person appears.
3) Searches for posts, photos, videos, pages and groups
As for the posts, you can filter the searches for a keyword using the links at the top and changing tabs to find only the published photos, videos, the pages that talk about them, groups and also events and apps.
Regarding the search for places, Facebook Search lists the various check-ins made by people and tells us which friends have been there.
4) Search history
Be careful now that every search done on Facebook is stored in your account.
As already explained in the guide to clear the history of searches made on Facebook, you can see the list of things searched for by the activity log, by pressing on Other in the left column and then clicking on Search (if we have kept the English language).
To facilitate searches on Facebook and really find everything you can use the Secret Revealer extension, to be installed on Firefox or even Opera.
