How to block a person on Facebook and what it means for him

Facebook is an excellent tool for keeping in touch with friends and also with people who never meet.
As with any social network, however, it is also possible to block a person and prevent him from communicating with us forever, at least until he is unlocked.
Blocking a person on Facebook means preventing him from contacting us, putting him absolutely silent without any possibility of staying in touch with us and seeing what we do.
If you have people you really don't want to have anything to do with, you can block a contact on Faceboo k in many different ways.

There are three ways to block someone on Facebook .
The quickest is to click on the padlock button at the top, next to the word Home, select "Someone annoys me, how can I make it stop?" and then type your name or email address in the box that appears.
The second blocking method is to click on the gear in the upper right corner to enter the settings menu and then enter the Block section.
You can then write the person's name in the "Block users" box.

The third method to block someone is to go to their profile, hover over the gear icon at the bottom right of the cover photo and select the "Report / block" button.
Once someone has been blocked, it will never appear in Facebook's search results again.
The blocked person then, if he does a search on Google and finds our profile (this in case we have made our profile searchable) when he clicks on it they will see the profile page unavailable, as if it no longer exists.
Keep in mind, however, that if the search on Google is done without being connected to Facebook, each person will be able to see what has been published publicly or see everything if the default setting of privacy is the public one.

If there are mutual friends, the person who has been blocked will not see the comments that are made about the places of mutual friends, which can be something very effective.
Facebook however warns that even if a person freezes, they can appear in the news flow when:
- the blocked person is included in a common group.
- if the blocked person publishes the photo of a mutual friend.
- if the blocked person is tagged by a mutual friend.
- if both are invited to the same event.
- if the blocked friend participates in a group chat.
- If you play common games or use external applications.

People can be unlocked from the same screen (without necessarily making them friends again).
