Increase the speed of Onedrive when uploading files

Some users say that the fastest cloud service to upload files to the internet from the computer is Dropbox while, according to some personal tests, I found instead that the highest upload speed is Google Drive.
However , Microsoft's cloud service has recently added speed to its Onedrive service .
Considering that, by default, Onedrive is also the service that offers more free space than the others (7 GB for new users while old ones have 25), it becomes the serious candidate to be used in keeping their files synchronized between different computer and transfer files from one to another, using the internet.
To increase the speed of uploading files to SkyDrive and reduce waiting times, Microsoft has added a manual option that allows you to increase the limit of files that can be transferred simultaneously.
Previously, the number of files that could be processed at the same time was 1, now you can increase this value to 2 or 3.
This means that uploading two or three files together will certainly be faster than before.
To apply the change of this configuration on a Windows PC it is necessary to follow these steps:
If the Onedrive client is running, find the cloud icon near the clock, press the right mouse button and exit.
Then go to Start -> Run (or Search) (press the Windows + R keys) and type or paste the following path:
localappdata%% \ Microsoft \ Onedrive \ settings \ Personal \ global.ini
Press Enter
After opening the global.ini text file, add: numberOfConcurrentUploads = 2 as the first line of the text (check to make sure that the line is not already present and do not modify the other lines of the file).
The value of the numberOfConcurrentUploads can be 1, 2 or even 3, no more.
Once the modification is finished, save and start Onedrive which, now, should be faster in uploading the files.
If you are using a Mac, the procedure is similar, but you have to open Terminal and write:
open ~ / Library / Containers / com.microsoft.skydrive-mac / Data / Library / Application \ Support / Onedrive / settings / Personal / global.ini
Increasing this value from the default value of 1 results in higher utilization of the upload bandwidth on the computer.
If this change has a negative impact on the use of the network, you can change the value by setting the variable to 1.
After this change it would be interesting to find out which is the fastest cloud service.
