App to compress a video on Android

Videos and photos are among the main culprits for the running out of memory space on the Android smartphone.
You should always remember to make a backup and transfer them to your computer or to a cloud space, but more often you prefer to keep them on your mobile phone, to be able to review them when you have some free time or to show them to friends.
Those who use keeping many videos on the phone, to avoid taking up too much space, should compress them by making the relative files smaller, without losing quality in the images of the movies and, let alone, in the audio.

If you have a smartphone or tablet with Android system, then a Samsung, LG, HTC etc., you can install the free Video Compressor app to compress videos and make them smaller .
The app is free, with advertisements that do not bother you anyway and, among many, it is one of the few if not the only one to work decently.
With this application you can choose the exact size (in MB) that the video must have after the compression procedure.
Then open Video Compressor, select the video you want to compress, select the folder where you want to save the new compressed video and give it a name.
Next, in the File Size field choose the size of the new video and tap on the convert button to start the compression process.
You will therefore have to wait while keeping an eye on the progress bar as there is no notification when the compression is finished.
Generally speaking, you can convert a video about 5 times, without exaggerating.
In my test a 54 MB video was converted up to a size of 10 MB without loss of quality, with an optimal result.
