View PC photos and image thumbnails in a 3D spatial environment

Until now, to browse and view images and to watch them on the fly I have always used a famous program called IrfanView because it is free, light and does what it has to do without ever getting stuck, without showing signs of slowing down so you can scroll through the photos pressing the space bar on the keyboard.
To manage the photos on the computer, the best program is Google's Picasa which has a lot of functions ranging from editing, to creating collages to integration with online services and which manages to organize files on the computer in an extremely efficient.
Today, however, I saw a piece of software in action that is incredible and that made me truly amazed by the effect it makes by displaying images and photos in a space environment .
Viewer2 is a free program for viewing images on your computer, so powerful that it is a joy to use it.
After you download and install it, you don't see anything.
Moving the mouse up, the menu appears and you can open a folder with images inside.
You then browse the computer resources, access a folder with photos inside and open one.
The photograph will be displayed in full screen and, using the mouse wheel, you can zoom in and out of the image which, if it has a high resolution, will have an exceptional and fast rendering .
The zoom can also be done on a part of the photo and not necessarily in the center, just move with the mouse, hold down, mark the area to be enlarged and again with the wheel make the zoom that has a 3D effect.
In the past something similar had been seen with Microsoft Photosynth which shows photos in a 3D interface.
Returning to Viewer2, pressing the right mouse button displays the thumbnails of the other photos superimposed on the one you were looking at in the background and you can browse all the images by moving the mouse with a lightness and a futuristic film visual effect .
To browse the images always full screen, you can press the bar on the headboard and see them one behind the other.
At the top, on the menu bar, you can rotate and rotate each image.
On the left, if you press the arrow that appears when you move the mouse, you can see all the files in the folder while on the right, the same thing shows the labels that you can put to catalog the photos (at the beginning there is nothing).
Viewer2 has a powerful engine inside that indexes the metadata of the images, the files and the paths and preloads the thumbnails of the images before seeing them large so that between viewing one or the other, there is no waiting to loading.
The peculiarity of this software is therefore the graphic rendering of the photos which offers a high impact 3D visualization and which amazes colleagues, friends and family.
It is certainly necessary, at the beginning, to practice with the mouse to understand how to move and how to navigate between photos.
Viewer2 can automatically organize image groups into groups, by name, by path, by number of views, by color, and of course by tags.
Pressing the Enter or Enter key (or double click on a photo) gives access to the most amazing function, that of seeing on the screen all the miniaturized images that are inside a folder.
Here, too, you can zoom in on one or a group of photos.
Now, you can close the program by pressing Esc then, go to the Start menu, Programs, Viewer2 and access the configuration panel.
From here you can change the screen resolution but above all you can enable the visualization of the thumbnails or spiral thumbnails .
By reopening Viewer2 and pressing Enter, you will be able to see the spiral of images.
To see one, double-click while and to return to the thumbnails, double-click again.
To navigate between the images, zooming in on a group of them, you must try pressing the arrows on the keyboard and scrolling the spiral.
The program is so cool that it must be absolutely tried, however there are problems that prevent me from recommending it as the default software for viewing photos and images.
Unfortunately, it is still not stable, sometimes it crashes and other times it shows problems supporting the resolution of the monitor so someone may have difficulty starting it.
In this case it is necessary to play a bit with the configurations to find the right set-up.
I was amazed by this application for the innovative interface and the speed of photo management so I really recommend trying it because it's worth it.
I think that when there are computers with a more accessible touchscreen, applications like this will be on the agenda.
