The question many are asking these days is whether to immediately install Windows 10 or not . First of all it is necessary to consider that Microsoft offers Windows 10 for free as an update to Windows 8 and 7 until 29 July 2016, after this date it will be paid instead.
However, no one is forced to update and change the operating system, the decision depends on each individual situation and certainly on personal preferences.
What I can do is provide general information on what it means to upgrade the PC to Windows 10, indicating the advantages and possible problems, if it is therefore worth switching to Windows 10 immediately or it would be better to wait .

Can there be problems after the update?
Even if Microsoft has done all the tests and made the installation process of Windows 10 safe, it cannot be excluded that errors or problems may occur on a particular computer.
The PCs are all different, old and new, with different internal parts, more or less powerful.
In particular, if those who have Windows 8 should not have problems, those who have Windows 7 on a PC of 4 or 5 years ago could find problems with the drivers and compatibility of some hardware devices.
Attention to the life cycle .
As already explained in another article, each version of Windows has its own life cycle for support, after which it is no longer updated.
For Windows 7 the term of support is not far away, it is in January 2020
Ultimately, for my personal opinion, I could conclude that:
- Who has Windows 8.1 will find a clear improvement and, at the same time, should have no problems in updating the PC immediately with Windows 10 .
- Those who have Windows 7 instead can wait a few months so that any common errors are solved by further updates to the system.
- Anyone who has a rather old Windows 7 PC, 5 or more years ago, which still works well, should not install Windows 10 now and never because it may risk making that computer unstable and suddenly obsolete.
