Transfer data, contacts and text messages from one mobile phone to another with online backup

Many people find themselves in trouble when they have to or want to change mobile phones because they don't know how to export phone numbers from the old to import it to the new .
It must be admitted that for a normal user like most people, this is not a simple operation because of the manufacturers of mobile phones and smartphones who never agree.
It happens so that, if you have to bring the address book from a mobile phone to another of the same brand, in general, it is easy: you connect the phone to the computer via cable or via bluetooth, you import the address book of contacts through the management program provided and reimported to the new mobile phone in the same way.
If, on the other hand, the transfer must be made between different brand mobile phones, there may be problems because the phonebook file saved for the old one, may not be compatible with the other brand.
To transfer the phone numbers of the phone book from any mobile phone to another, the best thing to do is to synchronize the phone book online, saving the numbers and names of the contacts on a website .
In reality, in general, an address book should be saved in a csv file which can then be exported anywhere.
A great way to manage your address books on Windows is certainly Microsoft Outlook.
If, however, technical difficulties were to be found, I can only recommend using an online service, which ensures total reliability for almost all models and brands of mobile phones and, above all, is 100% secure in terms of privacy.
No phone numbers saved on any of these free websites will ever be shared externally and all cell phones that can connect to the internet are supported.
The sites to which I refer are two, they are free, they are easy to use and they are in Italian .
READ FIRST:
  • Use the Google address book on an iPhone or save your contacts in Gmail
  • Synchronize your address book on Android, transfer and save your contacts
  • Transfer phonebook, photos and apps from iPhone to Android
  • Transfer contacts and numbers from Android to iPhone

1) Keepcontacts (ex Everdroid, ex Mobical and ex Zyb).
Its main function, however, is the online management of the address book, calendar, messages and mobile photos.
After registering with any name and confirming your e-mail address via Email, to save the address book online you must add the phone number of your mobile phone.
You choose the brand among those on the list: Nokia, Samsung, IPhone, Blackberry, Motorola, HTC, LG and others (click on more).
After choosing the model, you must write the country, Italy, the telephone operator and the telephone number.
Through this operation you should receive a text message containing a link to automatically configure the phone to connect with Everdroid and to synchronize the phonebook data.
Still from the home page, you can now press the button to synchronize the contacts and import them on the personal page of the site .
They become visible in the list on the Contacts tab.
If you change the address book from Keepcontacts, at the next synchronization, the data will also change on the mobile phone.
If multiple numbers are associated with a name and also other details such as email, home address or other, they will be transferred in a mirror-like manner.
To transfer the address book to another mobile phone then you can, in the same way, add the second phone and synchronize the Everdroid address book.
2) UNIK (no longer exists)
Unik is very similar to Zyb and is used to save the mobile phone book or Microsoft Outlook on the internet.
It works the same way: you register, confirm your email, add a phone and synchronize your contact data.
The main difference with Zyb is that Unik, although also in Italian, is a worldwide service that supports all the models and brands of mobile phones existing in the world and that offers, for each of them, detailed instructions and step by step for the configuration of the synchronization.
Unik appears to have been used by 27 million people already.
3) SyncFriend (no longer exists) allows you to backup your contacts on a computer so that you can easily recover them if you change your phone.
SyncFriend works with most mobile phones, almost all of them, so it also allows you to transfer the contact list from a Nokia to a Samsung or from a Nokia to an iPhone.
To start using SyncFriend, you can register using a Facebook, Google, Windows Live, Yahoo account.
Once inside, a page appears to set up your mobile phone for backup and to save the online address book .
Those who use the iPhone can download the Synthesis application from the Apple Store which allows an immediate backup with a click.
The service is free but for Android, Blackberry and Windows Mobile it takes a paid application of which, however, you can download the trial version for 30 days.
All other phones, such as Nokia and Samnsung (even older models) can synchronize contacts to keep them saved and always updated on the computer via the SyncML client.
For these phones, just request the automatic configuration that arrives via an SMS.
Once set up, the mobile phone has a button to transfer the updated address book to the online site.
Another option, also valid for mobile phones that do not have internet connection, is to bring the phone book to the computer.
A program to bring the address book to your computer from an old model mobile phone without an internet connection is BitPim .
This software works on Mac, Windows and Linux and imports contacts into Outlook.
For almost all phones that support synchronization (Nokia, Blackberry, iPhone etc ..) you can use Google Sync .
From Outlook you can transfer the address book to an HTC you can use the HTC Sync tool.
For BlackBerry there is the Desktop Manager.
As for Nokia phones, Ovi Suite can be used.
In another article I talked about how to save the address book on the PC and import it to another Nokia with the Nokia PC Suite backup program.
The older and simplified models save the phone numbers of the address book on the SIM card, therefore they do not require export or import programs.
Just insert the SIM on the new phone and use the copy directory function to move them to the unlimited memory of the phone.
