Google has added a really useful and advantageous new feature in the latest version of Google Chrome for Android, the " Touch to search ". With this function active, just touch a word on any web page, to be able to search it on Google without having to write it.
The search then becomes immediate and continuous to refine certain results and to find any information or meaning without wasting time opening new tabs in the search engine.
UPDATE: The function touch to search has disappeared from Chrome and replaced in Android by Now Everywhere .
The tap to search is active by default and you can immediately try it on Chrome for Android (it should be active on every smartphone).
The search is very useful, since the quick switch between cards is not as comfortable as it is on the computer, to find images, definitions, particular places and maps without having to write by hand and without having to load a new card.
The search box opens at the bottom and, only the first time, asks for authorization for use.
By tapping the word down or pulling up, the card turns into a Google search.
The Tap to search setting can be turned off in Chrome's settings, in the Privacy section.
