Management of contacts on Google address book

Google has renewed its personal contact book management tool with a much more beautiful and convenient interface to browse.
The Google address book, for those who do not know or ignore it, is a very important and very useful tool for safely storing the phone numbers and email addresses of friends so you never lose them, even when you change your phone and even if you switch from an Android phone to an iPhone and vice versa.
The Google address book is the same for various products: Gmail, Android, Google+ and Hangouts .
Using an Android phone, in the settings you can ask to synchronize the address book on the Google account and thus save all the phone numbers on the Google address book constantly.
If you change your phone, simply restore the account's address book to find all the phone numbers.
We talked about this management of contacts on the Google address book in several articles including:
  • Backup iPhone address book by saving contacts in Google / Gmail
  • Synchronize your address book on Android, transfer and save your contacts
  • Merge duplicate contacts into the Android address book

The contacts directory of Google and Gmail has been, as mentioned at the beginning, renewed aesthetically.
you can try the new Google address book by opening the contacts.google.com page.
With graphic layout in stil Material Design, the new Google Contacts page improves some of the existing features such as finding duplicates automatically and unifying them.
Among the newest features there is the possibility to search names directly in Google+ and to see, in the contact form for a contact, the list of the most recent conversations.
Special contacts and most often contacted people are located at the top of the page, followed by the rest of the address book, which now also includes Google+ circles.
To remove Google+ contacts from the address book, as explained on this support page, you need to go to the settings, to the section on personalizing the circles and deselect them all.
I remember that the Google contact book is always located at //www.google.com/contacts/ or, in Gmail, by pressing at the top left on Gmail, above the Write button.
The Google address book can be obtained on every Android smartphone by installing the official Google Contacts application, which now works on all phones.
This app is perfect for synchronizing contacts in Google and keeping them securely, finding duplicates and saving new numbers.
