Windows 7 is out and several methods have already spread to make it more graphically beautiful and to customize the theme, colors, backgrounds and the display of menus and windows. As seen in previous articles dedicated to how to improve the appearance of Windows XP and about the best themes for Vista and Xp.
After having bought and downloaded Windows 7, after updating the computer according to the installation guide and after installing the basic programs, you can move on to customizing the graphic settings .

Microsoft, to promote this new edition of Windows, is very keen to give users the opportunity to make their PC desktop beautiful to customize the look and feel .
It is not new in fact that in Windows 7 some regional themes are hidden, corresponding to the areas and states in which Windows seven is distributed.
So if in the Italian version you have the choice between a few themes to set, you can extend the range of possibilities by going, without downloading anything, to the folder C: / Windows / Globalization / MCT to find all the regional themes .
To install them, just click on them and apply the new graphics.
Alternatively, you can browse other official themes for Windows 7 designed by several graphic designers famous for Microsoft .
These themes can be downloaded and installed easily and there are regional and other very beautiful ones including: Ferrari, Zune, Bing, Avatar, Ducati, Coca Cola and Porsche.
Among them, some very beautiful are the Bing Maps themes with backgrounds of satellite images of cities and places
Other very nice themes are:

- Windows 7 themes from popular games and video games
For the most demanding, however, I can only recommend the themes developed and designed by the best graphic designers in the world who gather in the community of the DeviantArt portal.
To install the unofficial themes it takes the usual patch that unlocks the protections.
You must then download and install the UxTheme program.
At this point, the new themes appear in the desktop personalization menu (right click on the empty background - screen properties).
On the DeviantArt website, which I recommend browsing through in search of wallpapers and other high quality graphic elements, you can find, for example:
- Ribbon VS for win 7 with graphics similar to Office Live 2007;
- black and elegant SlanXp;
- Gel Xp Blue all marked on blue;
- Slate Win 7 is an Aero theme with high color intensity and depth;
- Gersmaero is beautiful, black and semitransparent worm.
Also consider the Nimi Visuals program, which adds visual effects and graphic changes on Windows .
