One of the best things about Google Photos is its simplicity in doing image searches, in a unique and new way that was not possible in any program before this. In Google Photos you can find your photos by writing in words what they contain.
For example, you can search " wedding " to find all the photos of various weddings in which a wedding dress appears, you can search " selfie " to find the photos where our beautiful face appears, you can search " hiking " to find the photos of trips out of town or trips to natural places, instead look for " beaches " to find photos at the sea.
Photos can now be searched easily by word not only from the Google Photos website, but also from the application which now has an intelligent search bar at the top that can be used immediately.
In addition to the search for photos, in the latest version of Google Photos (for now only on Android but the update will also arrive soon in the iPhone version) the possibility of being able to edit the movies that the app generates automatically or also has been added those created manually .
To find videos in Google Photos, use the search bar and search for the word Video .
Among the videos, we recognize those automatically generated by the clapperboard icon while the videos recorded by us are those with the Play icon.
By pressing on one of the automatic movies, you can touch the pencil key to enter editing and display three buttons below the video.
The first allows you to choose a graphic filter to change the colors of the slideshow movie, the second is used to change music and also allows you to choose a song from our music collection of songs, the third instead serves to edit the photos and videos that are used to create the movie, so that we can remove the ones we don't like and to add other significant images instead.
These editing options are, of course, also available for movies created by us.
To create a movie manually, just touch, from the Google Photos screen, the button at the top right and then, under the Create new section, choose Movie.
In this menu you can also create an animation, an album or a collage.
For the new movie, select the photos or videos to add and then go to the editing phase to finish it by uploading a piece of music and changing the color filter.
Google Photos, with these tools, really becomes the number one app for Android to manage photos and is practically unrivaled if you think that then all the photos taken and even the videos are saved online in an automatic backup that does not it has limits and is completely free.
