Keys to shutdown Windows 10 and 8.1, restart the PC and log off

Those who are using Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 can add the computer's shutdown buttons as shortcuts on the desktop or on the Start menu.
Fortunately, it is not at all difficult to add the shutdown, restart and logoff keys on the desktop and the Start menu in order to shut down Windows with a click.
To add the key that shuts down the computer in Windows 10 and 8.1, just follow these simple steps:
Create a new shortcut on the classic desktop by right clicking on the blank and choosing the " New -> Shortcut " option.
In the text box, write the following shutdown command: Shutdown -s -t 10
Then click on Next and give a name to the connection.
Similarly, you can create new desktop shortcuts for:
Reboot: Shutdown -r -t 10
Disconnection: Shutdown.exe / l
After creating the three shortcuts on the desktop, you can associate them with an icon to recognize them quickly.
To add an icon, right click on the links, select Properties and then, in the shortcut tab, press the " Change Icon " button and select an appropriate icon.
If desired, you can download icons from the internet to embellish the added buttons.
Finally, to add the shortcuts on the Start menu, just right-click on it and select the " Add to Start " option.
The tiles can then be moved and grouped together according to your preferences.
To add the shortcuts to the Start menu and remove them from the desktop, you can move the icons to the folder C: \ Users \ username \ AppData \ Roaming \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Start Menu \ Programs (change the username) and copy the three shortcuts in this folder which is that of the home screen.
C is the disk where Windows 8 is installed, while AppData is a hidden folder so you need to enable the display of the Hidden Items from the Folder Display Options.
