Perfect photo merging and photo montages on Windows Live Photos

In the Windows Live Essentials 2012 suite with the new Messenger, the Windows Live Photo Gallery program is also included, which, if installed, is visible in the start menu with the Italian name: "Windows Live Photo Gallery".
I don't know if you had noticed that this digital photo management program, very similar to Google's Picasa, has improved a lot, with truly innovative functions .
For example, you can set up automatic tags with facial recognition in photos, geotags and there are lots of photo editing tools to improve image quality and correct defects.
One tool that impressed me a lot is that of the Photo Merger that allows you to combine several photos together to create a different image .
It is not a question of making a collage or an album side by side with the photographs but of putting different elements, taken from different photos, in one with the dual possibility of creating perfect photomontages or removing unwanted objects from the photo .
Photo Merger takes several regions of different photographs and merges them together to create a new photo.
An ideal example for using Photo Fuse is on a photo with a group of people: imagining that two shots have been taken, where, in one there are people looking elsewhere and in another there are those who have eyes closed, then you can combine the two photos creating a third one where everyone is perfect, smiling and with an intelligent gaze.
Practically we go to extract, from the various images, the best parts and to merge them together without changing anything of the original photography.
To try, just open Windows Live Photo Gallery, select two or more photos that portray the same scene, go to the " Create " menu and choose to do the " Photo Fusion ".
To make merging possible, all photos must have been taken from the same position and, if possible, must have the same level of exposure to light (although with the correction tools you can correct the brightness).
If they are not, the merging of the photographs will fail.
Once Windows Live Photo has completed the analysis and alignment of the photos, a selection box appears that says " Which one do you like best"> With the mouse you have to select an area of the photo and then choose, of that area, whether to take the extract from the first or second photograph.
Depending on what you choose, the photo changes and, when the result is satisfactory, you can save the image.
After trying it I was absolutely incredulous by the quality of the result and, above all, by the ease and speed with which I got it.
For example, I took a photograph where I appear near another person, therefore, I was able to put myself close to a third person, of whom I had a photo taken inside the same room.
Photo Fuse can also delete unwanted objects from photos .
To this end, Windows Photo proves significantly better than, for example, the Tourist Remover online service.
Another nice photo montage trick that you can see is to create a twin or multiple clones of a person.
Just take some photos of himself, in various positions and merge the images together to create a collage that seems almost real.
As usual, the photo editing experts will be able to say that these mergers and photomontages can be done with Photoshop however I challenge anyone to find such an easy-to-use program that gives such amazing results.
Finally, remember that Windows Live Photo Gallery is included in Windows Live Essentials usable on Windows 7 8 and 10.
