Play tennis in front of the TV on your mobile phone and the Chromecast becomes like the Wii

The Nintendo Wii was a nice interactive toy, you put yourself in front of the TV to play virtually by moving your hands and feet.
For the nostalgic of the Wii, a free game for Android smartphones has just been released, which connects to the Chromecast and is played while holding the mobile phone in front of the TV.
Motion Tennis Cast is a tennis game that transforms the Chromecast into a Wii, played in front of the TV by shaking the smartphone as if it were the Wii's motion controller.
The game, which remained in beta for some time, was released in its final version and works really well.
So who has an Android phone and the Chromecast (who still doesn't have it, can buy the Chromecast for 35 Euros on Amazon), can play Tennis at home, virtually, with this splendid and fun game.
After installing and downloading it, you can use the function to transmit the mobile phone screen to TV and start calibrating the movements following the instructions on the screen.
Basically you have to stay still in front of the TV and put your mobile phone in a perpendicular position.
With the tutorial you will learn to hold the smartphone in your hand as if it were a tennis racket, in the right way to hit straight and backhand.
The gameplay is quite simple: holding the phone in your hand you can swing your arm for service and control the power and direction of the ball by moving your hand as you prefer.
Our tennis player moves alone in the right position to catch the ball, so our job is only to hit it in time and in the right way to get it to the other side of the field.
You can also make lobs by moving your hand from the bottom up and you can angle the trajectory with your wrist.
There are four difficulty levels and two game types, including a mode called "Time Attack" where you can get your scores with friends on Facebook or Google+.
At the end of each game the game also tells how many calories have been burned by moving in front of the TV.
The graphics and audio are nothing special, but the game runs smoothly and without delay which is the most important thing.
In fact it really feels like playing Wii Tennis, although Motion Tennis is a little simpler and less precise.
Considering that it is free, it is really worth playing.
