P2P network security and protect privacy while downloading in Peer-to-Peer

Downloading using P2P or Peer-to-Peer based applications is a practice as widespread in the world as it is efficient in terms of speed and material that can be found.
There are many programs to download in p2p, for example, Emule and UTorrent which we consider the best software of its kind and which, in the relative articles, we try, in an updated way, to configure them to optimize downloads and make them fast.
In another article we saw the patch open the TCP / IP connections which, in Windows, are limited, to allow p2p to expand its sources.
Still there, however, we had warned that if Windows put this protection, there is a reason, èd is related to pc security .
If you need to share data to download well on the p2p network, your computer is open to external connections which can also be harmful.
Then we add the problem of privacy and the fact that external entities, such as the ADSL network provider, can know whether or not they are downloading in P2P.
P2p downloads can be illegal if you download copyrighted files and, in theory, an internet service provider could trace users who download pirated movies, games and programs or mp3 files.
Many people overlook this fact, and although for the moment I have never heard of anyone being sued for downloading a film from EMule, it is nevertheless important to know that this risk can be, if not totally excluded, at least very limited.
There are several articles on Navigaweb.net that explain how it is possible to put barriers between your computer and the outside and to surf anonymously on the internet without leaving traces, while maintaining total privacy.
To maintain privacy even on p2p networks, however, a program called Peer Block (evolution of Peer Guardian) must be used, available for download on Windows, Linux and MAC OS.
These are extremely easy to use software that run in the background in the operating system and starts with the computer.
Peer Block protects privacy by blocking the sharing of files with some known IP addresses and reported as unsafe or harmful
These lists of IP addresses are updated almost every day in order to keep a P2P network as secure as possible.
They are both very light programs that do not slow down the download speed and do not consume too many memory resources when running in the background.
Blocked IP address lists not only affect the P2P network but also block government adware, Spyware and IP belonging to the authorities and are updated continuously.
You can also create your own list of IPs to block which, eventually, can be downloaded to other sites.
Using Peer Block is really very simple, also because there is nothing to configure except the way of updating the IP lists.
You can also decide to pop up when an IP external to the PC tries to access your PC.
Peer Block is therefore an effective tool for increasing privacy when downloading from P2P websites on the Internet .
However, the risks of using P2P networks are always there and the fact remains that we must consider that total protection does not yet exist.
