A spectacular new game based on augmented reality (AR) : Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has been released by the developers (Niantic) of Ingress and Pokemon Go, which allows us to immerse ourselves in the magical world of Harry Potter.
Just like in Pokemon Go, it is possible to play Harry Potter: Wizard Unite in the real world, looking at the screen while moving around the streets of the city where you will see owls, paper planes, inns as if we were inside a movie of Harry Potter. Even when you go by car, you will see on the screen that we are flying on a magic broom!
Compared to Pokemon Go where the goal is to look for Pokemon around, in this Harry Potter game we are completely immersed in the magical world, rich and addictive at almost manic levels, with a huge amount of elements to interact with.

At the beginning of the game you can choose to belong to one of the 4 houses of the Harry Potter universe: Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor or Slytherin. The choice has no effect on the gameplay and you can freely switch between them at any time.

There are three professions in Harry Potter : Wizards Unite: Auror, Magizoologist and Professor. You can choose the profession after reaching level six and each of them has its advantages and disadvantages.

• The Aurors deal more damage in the game, but they are also the most fragile, they are strong against the Dark Forces and weak against the Beasts.
• Magizoologists are the class of healers, with healing spells for the Magic Challenges, strong against the beasts.
• Professors are a hybrid class, which deal decent damage and unlock support spells.

Regardless of which profession you choose, teaming up with friends is practically mandatory if you want to go ahead and defeat the strongest enemies. Creating a team with the right mix of professions is fundamental. Keep in mind that you can change your profession at any time without losing progress, even if you have to go back to take targeted magic lessons for the chosen profession. To complete the lessons and progress in the chosen profession you must spend scrolls and spell books which are quite difficult to find and is the most difficult part of the game. To get spells you must always complete the tasks of the day and collect rewards of rank from the Register and passing the level.
One of the first things that needs to be done is to create the magic wand, which can be done at no cost from the special menu. The Harry Potter: Wizards Unite map is dotted with inns, greenhouses, fortresses and even banners that warn about the presence of the dark arts. Touching an inn, for example, you are taken to a dining room to collect food and replenish your energy to cast spells. Inside the structures, the dinner plates float, the pots of plants rotate in front of us and then, passing a Borgin and Burkes shop in Knockturn Alley, it is possible to move and explore the rooms in AR to examine objects and collect Wrackpurts to earn rewards.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite offers a more diversified AR experience than Pokemon Go, certainly more realistic although more demanding. In Harry Potter, therefore, you have to move with your cell phone in hand to explore the unexpected magical world around and interact with the various characters and creatures that you meet. If you meet other players on the street, you can have their collaboration to contain the dark magic.
The game is a world to be discovered walking in the real world as if we were in a Harry Potter movie, certainly not a game for sedentary people, excellent to play on vacation, certainly more fun than Pokemon Go at least for the variety of things you can do, like a virtual world to face in real life, ideal to play with friends.
