To use this service, all you need to do is register for free on the Whooming site that can be done from iPhone and any other smartphone .
For Android, to facilitate configuration and registration, there is also the Whooming app on the Google Play Store which, at this point, it is convenient to install.
After indicating the email address, you will receive the password to log in to the Whooming site and begin the configuration.
The operation of Whooming is based on call forwarding so that the calls received that are not answered because busy will be turned to Whooming which will be able to display and let us know the number in the clear.
The prerequisites, as Whooming points out in the wizard, is to have credit on the rechargeable SIM, of at least one Euro, which will not be spent but which are necessary to activate the call forwarding and then that the number is ours or that we know who to contact to activate call forwarding.
Then enter the country, operator and mobile number and, finally, choose to activate the diversion if busy.
In this way Whooming will be used only for refused calls by pressing the red key that ends the call.
On our mobile phone we will have to configure, in the dialer or telephone app, call forwarding for busy calls to the number 0694802015 .
If the setting is not found, just type the following number on the telephone keypad and call it:
- With TIM, Vodafone or Wind: ** 67 * 0694802015 #
- With 3: ** 67 * 0694802015 * 11 #
In the end, after setting up call forwarding, you need to confirm the phone number by calling yourself from the phone.
NOTE: In severe cases of stalking it may be advisable to activate Whooming for all calls and, therefore, activate total call forwarding .
To do this the code to use on the numeric keypad is ** 21 * 0694802015 #
At this point, when an anonymous and private number calls us, to find out which one it is, we just need to reject the call .
You can then read the real number of those who called on the Whooming site or on the application in the clear.
The service allows you to discover, in addition to private mobile numbers and landline numbers, also those that come from Skype.
In the control panel on the Whooming site, by logging in with the registered login, you can have a summary of the use of the service and a list of all calls received.
To disable call forwarding, call the number ## 002 # .
Whooming is free but with a limit, the number of those who called us anonymously can be seen only after 24 hours .
If you do not intend to wait, then you must buy credit for the service, making a rechargeable subscription of at least 10 euros or sharing the use of the service on Facebook.
Always for a fee you can get additional services such as that to make the caller ring the anonymous sound, making them believe that we are about to answer or even to record phone calls or receive unencrypted numbers via SMS.
